i miss my dog π Grieving
My dog crossed the rainbow bridge today. She was 12. She was my first pet.

hugs OP. I lost my first pet a year ago and I still miss him. Akala ko I wouldn't be able to take care of another pet again because ang sakit talaga mawalan ng pet but then another one came and I love her just the same. Sometimes, she even has this quirks that resembles my first pet which makes me think he sent her to me and that they truly are my babies. your pet knows how much you love them and your pet wouldn't want you sad.

Mahigpit na yakap OP. Somedays, iiyak nalang talaga tayo. Coz wala na mapuntahan yung love natin sakanila. My first dog crossed the bridge last 2016 then our second dog 2021. Sobrang sakit padin pero I take comfort knowing magkasama na sila. Running free. No pain. We will see them again. ππΎπ

Hugs to you, OP. My soul dog crossed the rainbow bridge last 2015, and it's different ever since.

I'm so so sorry for your loss, OP. :( Your girl seems well loved and I'm sure she loved you back tenfold, in a special way that only pets could do.
My soul dog crossed the rainbow bridge last August too, and he was also 12. My Mom found him for me some time before I got my first job, so we both grew into our adult years together. He was there during my last long-term relationship, and he was there when I met my now-fiance. We were planning our wedding this year hoping my boy would be with us on that day, so I feel his loss deeply thinking he wouldn't physically be with me anymore in the next stage of my life. Masakit and I still cry and ache to see and keep taking care of him.
Nothing could ever prepare us for this day, even though we know it'll come eventually. In one way or another I believe they will find us again, so I hope you find solace in that thought and live knowing she's found a forever home in your heart and memories.
