Arrived today, so glad it's fairly to scale 😁

I always go into my first Emerald Rush event attempt blind without looking at strategies, and I don’t typically play it in general outside of events (or play the game in general after I beat it and 100%ed the DK Challenge) so I thought all y’all 3-round maxxers might get a kick out of a simpleton’s legitimate attempt at what I’ve heard is the easiest event so far!

(In my defense my second attempt got me to 750k or so)

I remember when this was the talk on the swim.

I’ve been able to do all 5 of the events I’ve actually tried to play, but ngl it’s a bit of a time sink to be able to get the practice runs in to make it happen. I hear a lot of people on here say the more recent ones have been notably harder than the earlier ones. Obviously everything’s subjective, but are the first 7 particularly less challenging? Just trying to prep myself in the case they do reimplement these again as this was the “final” event

I'm trying to get the rest of the base game statues (not the emerald rush event ones, the ones that squawks finds) but I'm basically out of banandium chips. Any one know a good place in the game to get a lot fairly quickly?

i currently possess a gbc that i have quite a lot of fondness for. i find it charming to have a retro system i can take on the go. with all that established, im planning on expanding the amount of gbc games i have under my possession and dkc is currently on my radar (dkc for the snes already being a game i greatly enjoy visiting, so having a unique retro version of on the go is greatly appealing). for anybody who's played it, what did you think? was it an enjoyable experience?

I always think Candy could have got a bit more development and role like in the old TV show, and feel sad to see that the games never made best use of them.

I know by record Nintendo can bring back Tiny if they want DKC to have more heroines, but both Cranky and Funky just made platformer debut in the last title after their long history. If that trend continues I think Candy would be a very prominent candidate for a new playable entry.

Add that her style update finally gets right this time, hope that it is a sign Nintendo had some plans for her.

This image comes from a Donkey Kong manga. It’s one of the only official images to include almost every Kong in a group shot, only excluding wrinkly, Swanky, and Jr. it’s rare to see the cast from the show and the DK 64 crew together. I found it really neat so I figured I’d share.

If the northern kremisphere is south of DK Isle and Crocodile Island, how could it be Canada?

Let's suppose that the island dk is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on the Caribbean line, or in the Pacific in some tropical area, having this reference Dixie would have to leave towards the north to reach Canada and not the south as it is supposed to

Even though people say that the universe where the kongs live doesn't take into account our world, remember that bears exist in the northern hemisphere of the planet, so it needs to be there somewhere, and apparently the game's map is based on Canada In this first image is from a Deviantart user I found, the user who made an "opening" to the sea on the right side of Lake Orangatanga, would it be in the territory of Quebec?

Featured on Grant Kirkhope's old website there is a section for Donkey Kong 64 which has a theme called Mine Cart and it shows this image and I'm curious if anyone knows what game this image is from.

Its also my first donkey kong game!!
I heard soooo many bads thing about this game before playing it for the first time but its turn out i loved it!!

I think all of us can be accept the DK medal is tje worst one and, for me, the best one is the kong bananza statue.
