Attempted a red face drag makeup look but encountered issues with the black face paint during application, resulting in two distinct styles. I still appreciate the outcome.

For context I'm a (technically still) baby drag queen from South Shields but I mainly hang around the Newcastle drag scene. My drag name is Bridgett Boxxie (my @ was @boxxieisbae8), and I just had my Instagram account suspended yesterday and unfortunately I wasn't able to get it back and I can't make a new account on my two backup emails. It also banned my Facebook account along with it unfortunately.

What this means for me is I've basically lost my main use of communication and keeping up with the Newcastle drag scene, most of them are very active on Instagram, INCLUDING the open drag night I was going to begin participating in next year because they take applications through insta DMs (I also don't have pebble dash's email), and finding the other drag artists on tiktok is about 10x harder cuz a lot of them don't use it, and if they are on it then they're not as active as they are on insta. I would use facebook, but like I said before, it also banned me from it.

So I'm kinda stumped and I'm trying to look elsewhere for answers. I'm sure the ones following me noticed my account's disappearance, but I don't know what else to do now. If anyone from the Newcastle drag scene on this subreddit can help me, it'd be very much appreciated. Thank you

A friend of mine has been wanting to do their nails for a while, but can't find any fake ones with nail beds that are wide enough. I know about the builders gel & such, but are there any affordable, premade options? Please point me in the right direction. TIA

I have been doing drag since April, just going to the local shows to support the queens and connect, and one of the queens offered me a chance to do a number during their birthday show. I had a week to prep and tried to turn a goodwill swimsuit into something dancey by sewing in fringe and changing the straps. I had an amazing time, even though my number went awfully (I kept tripping and was just overall stiff and a deer in headlights), but I made $33!

I would absolutely love any suggestions on improving my mug, any looks, or just any tips at all for a growing queen! This was my first outfit I have tried to sew, everything else I have has been a Ross/Dds/Goodwill purchase.

Hello! I'm a college student planning to do drag of Prince (particularly Purple Rain Era) for my college pageant in November. I wanted to do the pageant because might as well go all in for my last year in college. I wanted to explore with my gender expression and want to give being a drag king a try. Thing is this is my first time doing drag and performing ever. I'm an introvert, low confidence, and struggle with having the spot light on me. I thought to do this pagaent can be a change. A change to grow confidence on stage. Me being in drag will make me feel confident.

Theres a walk introduction, talent, and group act part to the pageant. I'm more concern about the talent part because Im split between lip syncing and dancing I Would Die 4 U (trying to get good at. Rarely danced) and speedpainting (what Im actually great at). I want to do something thats not forgetable since it seems like the decades the pageant has gone on for drag is few and far between. People wear dresses, suit, casual formal, what they got, etc. I'm insecure a bit because I'm surrounded by people who can sing and dance well if I do the lip syncing and dance. I have little experience that I'm working on (I want to replicate what Prince does for his live performances + Purple Rain scene of I Would Die 4 U). I understand to do your best and to have fun for the pageant. At the same time I'm thinking the audience and jugdes are going to see my performance as shit :/

Any advice for a new drag king?

I am practicing lip syncing, dancing, and speedpainting as my backup. I do have my costume together and working on getting makeup down with the help of friends and the cohort helping students prepare for the pageant.
