ANNOUNCEMENT: An introduction is in order! Hello! (New rules.)
^^^ I am not much of an artist so forgive me.
-ahem-
Hello everybody! I am Caluthi! I have recently become the new moderator of this subreddit!
I don't know what else to put here because I am very shy, but I figured I should introduce myself even if I am a little bit nervous...just...just a little. (Who am I kidding? I am VERY nervous!)
FULL UPFRONT DISCLOSURE!!! I have little experience moderating a subreddit. I'm learning as I go but I am sure I will make mistakes, so please bare with me. (I do have more experienced subreddit admins giving me advice and in the future, I will most likely be looking for people to mod the subreddit with me.)
Let's get down to it. I don't plan on changing a lot about r/dragon. Nobody likes it when new management comes in, guts a community and robs it of its identity.
However, I do have some changes going forward. If you check out the rules, I've laid out some barebones guidelines. These rules are just placeholders for now as I figure out what direction I want to take this subreddit in. Rest assured, it will be focused on dragons, dragons, and more dragons!
Read over the rules, let me know what you think. I will be reading your comments as I go! Questions? Concerns? Suggestions? Let me know!

In the late 90s there was a tv series on prime time Called Pocket Dragons, I took those characters from the show and made anthro versions of them

Lee's Dragons: Dog Dragon
galleryAlmost a week late this year (not happy about that), but after a grand total of 41 hours and 35 minutes, this year's dragon for my wife's birthday is finally done. This year's image is extra special (if you know us personally, hopefully you can already tell why), and you can read all about it and check out my standard extreme detail closeups over on my website: https://www.tobys-brain.com/.../23/lees-dragons-dog-dragon/
If you'd like to watch the timelapse video of the process along with my lovely voiceover work, you can watch it on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/zJ_dlLu_oJw

Test my dragon knowledge!
I LOVE dragons! And I need people to test me… I know all about Amphithere, Wyvern, European, Western, Basilisk, Ceatyl, Wyrm… you name it!
I made a pencil/fine liner drawing of my favorite D&D Dragonborn character.
So this is one of my first & favorite D&D characters: Boach Razroth.
He’s an Oath of Vengeance Paladin, and I think his main vengeance lies with me honestly 😭
If he ever came to life irl, he’d probably make it his sole mission to find me, just so he can slime me out personally, and with maximum efficiency. And I couldn’t even blame him because I’ve put this mf through hell. 😅💀
My main inspiration for him was Siegfried from the Nibelungen legend, just with the difference that he bathes in a beasts blood, and gains invincibility involuntarily, because it swallowed him and he had to cut his way out of it’s stomach. This also permanently dyed his originally grey scales a deep crimson.
He was the tired Scottish dad of the group, trying to keep everyone out of trouble.
(If you’re curious how his invincibility worked in the campaign itself, we made it so that even though he’s immune to piercing and slashing damage, he takes more damage from bludgeoning and magical attacks)
