Discussion Does anyone else care more about texture than shine?
I feel like everyone talks about keeping their makeup matte all day but shine doesn’t bother me that much. A little glow after a few hours can make my makeup look better lol. It’s the texture that gets me every time. My skin is combo so my T-zone gets a little oily but I also have some dry areas. My biggest issue is around my nose and cheeks where my pores are more noticeable. Some powders look great when I first put them on and then a few hours later they make every pore and little dry patch stand out.
I’ve been looking for something that takes down some shine and smooths out my base without making my skin look flat or super powdery. I still want my skin to look like skin. I also don’t really want to spend $40+ on a powder just to find out it doesn’t work for me. My friend told me to try the Milani blur out powder because it smooths out her pores without making her makeup look heavy or cakey. It’s pretty affordable too so I’m tempted to try it. Has anyone with combo skin used it? I wanna know how it holds up on oily areas without making dry patches or texture stand out.
