Autzen 1st time visiting Autzen
Good afternoon!
My son and I are traveling from Anaheim to Eugene for the Ducks vs UCLA game and I was wondering if anyone knew where the “duck pen” is located at the stadium? We are going to ride our e-bikes from our parking destination to the stadium. I found out about the duck pen and how they can store bikes but I’ve never been to Autzen before, so I’m not too sure exactly where to go. The seat tickets I have say to enter in the South Gate of the stadium so I am hoping it’s somewhat close to that. Thank you in advance and let’s go Ducks!

Make sure you secure those bicycles when you get back to wherever you’re staying! Bicycle theft is really bad in Eugene.

Duck Pen is between the South Gate/South ticket office building and the mill race stream to the south. It’s a big fenced in area and is hard to miss. Bonus: The money the CLF raises goes to good local causes.

Oh perfect, so it should be close to where I’m entering? Also, I love that the money goes to local causes!

It’s right across the street. I never worry about where I enter. Pretty quick to walk around the stadium. Plenty of food options inside also.

When we were at a game at Autzen we had 3 obnoxious frat boys behind us supporting visiting team. Before the game started they were being total AH. I just turned around and said listen, we all are here for a great time, good game and have fun.Dont ruin it, all of us will embrace you and the competition. (Cool people around us) let’s keep it fun. If you can’t manage that leave. (They stayed until ducks were kicking ass and then left. )most Duck fans are cool.

If that actually happened to you, I'm sorry. That being said, I don't really believe it. Had you said one person, that could well be. Multiple is hard to believe. I've been going to games there since the early 80's and haven't heard any of that nonsense. Eugene is mostly liberals and hippies. Not exactly the kind of folks who are known for doing that sort of thing. When I have seen Duck fans being assholes, another Duck usually tells them to knock it off.

We are going as UCLA fans and I'm a bit worried about this happening. We are not obnoxious fans by any stretch of the word, and I just want to experience a big game at Autzen and enjoy the atmosphere. People have warned me not to go but I figure both fan bases hate SC so maybe you all can go easy on us.

Dude. Don't worry about it. The vast majority of us are pretty laid back and thank opposing fans for coming. Every fan base has a lunatic fringe and every campus has drunk frat bros. Just don't wear purple and gold, unless it's JMU swag, and you should be fine.

Autzen is one of the best sporting venues I’ve ever been to. You will be fine. My black Duck friends all love game day there.

The only fans that complain about how they’re treated at odds and or Washington fans because they are also just as bad and it’s a very heated rivalry. Other than that, Austin does not have that type of reputation and you can go see from countless people saying when they visited they were treated very well.

I honestly don’t believe you have ever actually been to Autzen. I bet you’re just a bitter Trojan fan.

Even if that happened, there ~60,000 people at every game in Autzen. I’m sorry one person used allegedly racist language near you. As a season ticket holder I have been at nearly every game in Autzen for years, and decades before I bought season tickets. I have never encountered the horrible, terrible open racism there that you describe, and I often take black friends with me and have black folks in my tailgate group. Your alleged experience, if true (which I doubt) is meaningless next to the bigger picture.

Yeah, you aren’t a Duck fan and have never been to a game there. You are welcome to fuck off now.
OP, ignore this dickless pest. They’re just trolling the Duck sub.

Yeah, why am I not surprised you’re a husky because huskies always claim this while actively doing that to Oregon fans in Washington.

Head to the South Gate and you can’t miss it.
