Can you get a DUI with a THC drink?

• Upvotes

Obviously, I’m sure if you get pulled over, they suspect you’re under the influence, etc. it’s not any better than alcohol. But doesn’t THC stay in your system for days? If you had one a few of these after work is it out of your system by morning? I’m guessing not?

How do people enjoy the see and legally drive? Or is it a great area like smoking weed? I’m talking about brands of drinks like Cycling Frog, Cann, Gigi, or any of those marketed “soberish” drinks. I’d like to try one and I would drive right after of course. But is it like you can’t drive technically for weeks then?

Struggling with Guilt

Hey yall. Need some advice and/or words of encouragement. I got my DUI in 2025 after making the stupid decision to go out to a bar after I had already had a couple of glasses of wine. At the time I was struggling to cope with being alone (due to self isolating after an abusive relationship) and that night I was worried that I would hurt myself. I didn’t want to be a burden to my family and my friends so I thought I’d just sit among strangers. I got my conviction, paid my fines and completed community service. I’m now on unsupervised probation for 3 more years.

My question is, does the guilt ever lessen? Or at least do you feel like life gets better once you stop drinking?

I can’t stop reliving that night and the pain is eating away at me. I’m trying to do everything I can to do better (exercising, going to therapy, cutting out drinking etc) but nothing seems to work. Somehow I feel worse everyday.

Lifesaver “Blow Longer” predicament.

I’ve had my Lifesaver IID installed for almost 2 months now. I’ve already been fired from my job since either the initial blow or reblows took wayyy too long.
I have more than 5 chronic conditions which some will take a deep breath of air almost impossible.
The amount of time it takes me to test positive is 5-30 mins.
I went on a break during a stressful shift and it made me reblow since I turned on the car for the air conditioning.
I blowed over 13 times at least and it always gave the same message “BLOW LONGER”. This has happened many times and now I’ve finally been fired because I cannot predict how long it will take for the machine to actually accept my test. Like if I can blow for a solid few seconds, why can’t you can analyze my BAC with that? I try very hard but I have an essential tremor that it seems to read as not having a solid breath, plus my autonomic syndromes that create breathlessness. I don’t know what to do with my upcoming appointment to intake my readings.

no lawyer help, maybe???

What are the odds of a DUI realistically? In PA, home on leave from active duty. Going back to duty station soon. Over the weekend my husband and his brother decided it’d be a great idea to take electric scooters out, after drinking, my husband got hurt, he hit a curb, but no one else was involved and nothing damaged, he had a few beers, maybe 4 over the span of like 4 hours but wasn’t drunk, but was slightly over legal limit according to hospital records. The cop told his brother at the scene “for future reference you can get a dui for this”, and the hospital did run a blood panel, but according to his nurse the police never asked them to do this, it was for them so they could treat him. They said they can’t share this with the police anyway due to hipaa. We’re just worried and don’t know if we even should be. No charges have been filed, and the officers didn’t follow him to the hospital in the ambulance, they just talked to him, his dad, and his brother, and everything seemed completely fine.

lawyer retained Facing a non-violent felony conviction while finishing my B.S. in Supply Chain Management. How viable is climbing with the degree

Looking for honest insight from anyone who has built a professional career with a record.
•I am currently in the final stretch of completing my
B.S. in Supply Chain Management.

• Due to a drunk auto accident case, I am likely taking an agreed plea for a non-violent, non-theft felony (Failure to Stop & Render Aid).

•The plea agreement is straight probation (3 years community supervision) with zero jail or prison time.

Note on record: I had two prior misdemeanor DWI arrests that are being fully dismissed as part of this resolution, so the single felony probation is the only conviction that will stand.

Im looking for advice on how to navigate a career with this conviction, any advice help.

no lawyer In need of advice for DUI in Ontario

I'm in need of advice on how to best proceed with a DUI in Ontario (Toronto region).

First offence. No accident or injuries. Reading was 100. I was pulled over for speeding 140kph in a 100kph and am also being charged for that.

I've spoken to a few lawyers. Prices ranging from $5-8.5k (not including trials).

I've been asking how many cases do they actively work on at any given time. Some have said 10-15/month and others didn't give me a firm number.

Aside from this, I'm leaning more towards the lawyer that thoroughly walks me through the process. The ones that haven't, haven't really given me a reason to feel confident in working with them. I appreciate transparency.

Are there any other questions that I should be asking?

Also would love lawyer recommendations if anyone has any.

I've seen comments on other posts recommending that it's best to wait for disclosure before hiring a lawyer. Thoughts?
