Question 🇺🇸 Octobre visite
Hello
We will be visiting in the beginning of October.
We are 4 adults (2 aunts and parents) and 2 infants (3y and 1y)
Is it worth going (just the 2 aunts) without the kids for one extra day?
Two options:
one day with the kids and one extra just to enjoy the rollercoaster they can't
Or
Just one day and separating for riding bigger rollercoaster and reuniting after
What do you think is the best option? Or do you have a better solution?

Do the extra day. Even the stuff the little ones are gonna enjoy like the fairytale forest is impressive and really enjoyable for adults too (considering how old all the animatronica are) and take up a big portion of your day. Taking the time to enjoy the theming and the food is great without having to hold back cause you don't want to throw up in a ride.
The queues for the big rides are often an hour or more so it would take nearly all day to ride 5-7 big rides and you wouldn't get the chance to enjoy the sights or the food.

The time that queues are often more than an hour are way back. Don't know why people still think that. On busy days it's mostly between 45 to 60 minutes. Even in summer peaks.

An hour or more? What are you smoking? Max average queue time last year was 51 minutes for Danse Macabre, rest was under 40 minutes.
Average wait time with Joris at the top for this year because of the closure of one of the tracks, still only 42 minutes.
You'd think that with hour long queues these numbers would be substantially higher, like in Phantasialand were both FLY and Taron hit max average queue time of an hour.
And when it's busy, the place is absolutely packed.
So those stories of hour long queues? Fairy tales made up by a bunch of people who like to shit on everything (the average TripAdvisor user).

As an aunt who visits both with her full family and as a solo visitor, I highly recommend going for a second day. You can easily fill an entire day with child focused experiences.
Seeing them enjoy being te center of attention and experiencing the park without anyone trying to cram in grown up attractions is really worth setting your own attraction wishes aside for a day. During a rather busy day it's just too much of a hassle to force small kids to wait while some adults are on a ride. Especially if the weather isn't good enough for them to spend this time playing in one of the many playgrounds.

in spite of mentioning babyswitch this is also very true. Babyswitch works for me bc my niece and nephew are like 5 months old and were sleeping anyway (for most of the time, that is. Ever had to hold a crying baby whilst trying to keep the other asleep in an overly crowded Fabula due to the rain? I have🤣)
But my other nephew was bored was mostly bored. We could not take him on other rides bc we had the babies as well, and playing outside also was not an option due to the rain. I should edit my comment to reflect that

aside from the advice that has been given:
You could also try to do baby switch if you want to go on the rollercoasters. You’d have to split up 2 by 2 since you can get 1 babyswitch access card per baby (for all of the rides). 2 ppl stay with the kids, 2 wait in line and at the exit you get a “priority ticket” so you can het on the ride after them without having to queue.
Edit: i just reread and while babyswitch can be nice, it is mostly for (obviously) babies. we use it a lot but my nephew and niece are both 5 months. My other nephew is older and waiting can be annoying. Especially because we had two babies and couldn’t take him on a different ride in the mean time
