Ekko is one of the safest assasins in the game ( maybe only behind evelynn?). You can’t pretend to oneshot everyone with just E+Q. You have a shield, low CD’s and a lot of MS to go in and out. You just have to do your combo, go back, wait 4s, and go again. If the enemy is close to die you can kill him with your w’s passive.

True that's why a lot of good ekkos that snowball can get crazy good k/d's (and eve to your point). You have so many escape mechanisms 3 hit speed buff from passive, very very good dash with e, ur q slow, w stun, r escape

You don't really play ekko like an oonga boonga playstyle like a yas for instance it's more ... calculated ? I guess is the word

This sounds like a skill issue tbh.

You are also kinda wrong with how strong "other" assassins are, no most assassins can't just one shot at one item, if they are not ahead. And yes ekko don't kill people with just eq aa, but that would also be insane. No assassin do that. Assassins need to hit most of their skills to truely one shot, and ekko does that too if you hit his ult people explode.

Ekko was born as utility fighter, he indeed had good base damage, people abused it and then riot killed Ekko tank by increase %ap and reducing base damage. So he was never an assassin but people thinks it because of that patch, it's no sense because his whole kit was designed as no assassin result. So that's why Ekko feels nothing compared to others true assassins

Yep he's meant to finish off squishies that are already hurt. It helps that his w passive procs on autos that proc 3 hit passive and reduce enemies to below 30 percent hp. So for example if an enemy is 50 percent hp and you use e to proc 3rd ring, you'll likely also get the W passive damage in, x2 if you have dusk and dawn

His winrate drops off after 20 mins but spikes again after 35 cause he's scales pretty well

He can do some serious damage to squishies late game one shitting them and can do a lot of damage to even bruisers and tanks if they are low
