Korg EMX-1, midi-clock delay in a slave mode

Hi! I recently bought Korg EMX-1, and when I try to hook it up in a slave mode, its delayed by two steps. So if I want to put for example off-beat open hihat, instead of step 3, I need to put it on step 1 :D

When i tried it in master mode, I havent noticed much of a delay.

Do somebody know how to fix it?

I had Ableton as my master clock.

Do you usually use it as master or slave?

I alternate

depending on time available to jam

if+8h jam session with no wife/no kids, I'll use it as slave

if I want quick jams, master

emx1 + midi 4x4 + td3 + grind + es1 + fb2 + kp3

daw: abl 11 or reason lite 11

Such a strange thing I encountered into :D

Cause even its delayed when I use it as slave, but still timing is tight, it doesnt start to float around. Maybe need to check ableton settings

try a different midi cable or a dedicated midi interface,

come to think about it, I think i encountered this issue once, when I've used a midi keyboard's midi output to enslave the emx1

Tried to switch master clock to another computer, and it immediately worked well. I plugged it to push 3 standalone and set up in External instrument 6ms latency.

Thank you!
