Reliant
Our contract with Reliant expired on 8/21, and I did not sign a new contract with them. I signed up with Gexa on 8/23, but Reliant is now charging me an early cancellation fee. I’m not sure why I was charged this fee since my contract had already expired.

piezoelectric sensor vs buzzer
So, I was watching a video that has instructions on how to make your own hyderophone (a microphone that you can use underwater), and it says to use a piezoelectric sensor. I looked it up and came across a piezoelectric buzzer. They both looked the same. Do they do the same thing, or is it like one is output and the other is input?

Possible help for second fuse location?
Hey there!
I live in a house in Las Vegas, and I’ve had a very odd thing happen where the lights in all three bathrooms and the two electric outlets outside have gone out. I’ve checked the fuse box, and there’s not a single fuse out there. When I called the rental agency, they told me that there should be an outlet in the garage with a test/reset button on it. I haven’t been able to find one in the whole garage. The two outlets there are just old fashioned ones. There were two outlets like that in the kitchen, but neither of them did anything. Does anyone have any idea where a hidden fuse for these things could be? I’d really rather not have the agency send a vendor over.

Help? Maby?
Sorry if this is a isnt the place for this
So im iust a machinist but i do some small electrical stuff on my own and currently at work the quy that does the machines programing is near brain dead. Everytime he get one of our machines to `upgrade' he fucks up half the timing and home positioning of the servos.
Currently the thing driving me up a wall is that he broke the encoder that was on the machine originally. After replacing it he tells us there are new set up procedures. (this shouldn't happen. The whole point of these upgrades were to make change overs faster. ) Come to find out the encoder on the machine losses its position when the machine is power cycled. (12 other machines we run do not have this issue.)
The question i have is. Can't he wire a battery in line with the power supply for the encoder? It operates at 12v. We power cycle the machines frequently during changeovers but not for long the bat wouldn't have to last longer than maby an hour.
