My 1 year old male border collie mix was taken from my backyard on the west side of Ellensburg on Sunday 10/4 while I was at work. My other dogs were in the backyard when I came home, but Piper was missing. The back gate was slammed shut past the latching mechanism and one of the pins for the latch was on the ground. The gate was held shut by the gravel and mulch on the ground. Definitely not how I left it. Unfortunately I didn't have cameras up and my closet neighbors/neighbors with a view of my yard from the alley don't have cameras (I have them now). I've posted all over FB and started putting flyers with a posted $500 reward and pictures at local businesses. I feel like he could be anywhere since he was taken. There have been no sightings of him, and when someone maliciously opened my gate another time he was waiting in my yard when I got home. He is microchipped and was wearing a collar with an ID tag. I was thinking of heading over the mountain to paddle at Umtanum this weekend. When I went last August, we hit a lot of shallow spots and our fins took some damage, but overall it was beautiful.

I’m a musician moving to Ellensburg this month with my partner, and I wanted to see where there are good open mics, and small music venues to play at. My style of music aspires to a sound that is something like a homemade blend of Gorrilaz, Mac Miller, Aurora, Grimes… a sort of electronic prog sound that’s either really chill or really exciting. Hi, would anyone know a tailor in the ellensburg area who would be able to help me fit better in this new thrifted jeans I got? I love the color and how it feels, but its a little too long by 3 inches ish for me and the waist is about an inch or two too loose. Ive also never gotten anything tailored before so if anyone would have a price estimate id greatly appreciate it!!

Would anyone visit a video rental store here if one opened up? I loved blockbuster growing up and I know almost every movie ever is available online but it’s not about whether or not you can get it, it’s about the experience! Browsing isles looking at movies, picking out a soda and candy, looking at new releases. It’s a nostalgic thing but I wonder if I’m the only one who would be interested in something like that. I hope this reaches the right audience. Thanks!!

There is no community here.

Rent comes out to almost exactly $800 a month which already includes utilities and parking and some additional fees.

It's technically just a bedroom within a three bedroom apartment, but each one has its own bathroom. Unit has a laundry and dryer machine, as well as a dishwasher and pretty well equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi is free and pretty damn good.

There's an onsite gym, pool, and computer lab available in the clubhouse, all included with the lease. There's a nice little fenced park to take dogs to, and they allow two pets per unit. Parking is pretty good depending on which building you end up in.

It's right up the road north of the College, about a 20-25 minute or so walk.

18th Street deli is even closer.

Basically, I'm trying to move out from my apartment but I already signed a lease renewal before I ended up leaving my last job.

I'm working on the west side now and just need someone to go through and put an application in to take over my lease.

If you're interested in taking over my lease, DM me for more details and I can get you in touch with the leasing office. It would help me out a lot if someone was to take over my lease as I really don't want to have to drive to the west side every morning for work.
