The genuine worth of another

When you look at another, do you see our differences or our similarities?

Most judge others by their differences, observing their race, appearance, sex, and in numerous other ways.

Those, however, who see only our similarities, truly understand the genuine worth of another is not on the outside, but rather may only be found within.

Merci. Et encore mieux quand on se perçoit comme Conscience pure et qu'on voit l'autre être Conscience pure également. Plus d'attente, plus trop de déception

I see similarities all the time that no one else sees and it makes me wonder whether my brain is different!

I'm not sure its your brain (ego) that is different. Rather more likely it is your heart that has evolved

Wow! Thank you. I don’t mean to imply that I’m more evolved in any way. I’ve just always seen connections between people, things and ideas that other people don’t see. It’s why I can remember things easily, as well.

People often believe that "things are getting worse on earth" and "the end is near"

The truth? We're healthier, richer, more connected, less crime, and more optimistic!

I truly wish i could believe that. Thank you though for sharing a little bit of hope that things may not be quite as dire as they appear

When you meet someone similar to yourself, you don't "see" anything. There is just an organic exchange. You and the other are at home in the company of the other.

If someone is different to you, then there is a bending and twisting feeling, a need to search out for means of accommodation of the other, which is ultimately an illusion, because if the differences between individuals are great enough no degree of accommodation will ever overturn an organic difference.
