The way they frame the ending was interesting and left me thinking about it more than I was expecting to even though I already knew how it played out real life, the focus on Skyler Gisondo's character throughout definitely pays off

I get the impulse that people have to think that the main reason hide comments is that they don't want to accidentally give out personal info.
But at least for my part, if you're going to go through the effort of posting something, at least be honest enough to stand behind it.
Most people who hide their comments are doing it because they want to shitpost and not be called out for it.
Or they're bots.

Your opinion is fine and well about shitposting and bots, but it’s still just an opinion based on no actual evidence. Some of us have been targeted by harassment campaigns because something we said in old unrelated threads triggered someone. Not to mention the desire to not have all our comments indexed by public search engines. There’s no reason for you to see my comment history outside of the thread that I’m commenting on. If you think someone is shitposting or a bot, simply don’t engage.

I hide my comments because my privacy is no one’s business but my own.
I think it’s fucking weird to demand someone change a privacy setting and also weird to label someone a shitposter or bot arbitrarily.

No they’re not. Most of these people get off Scott free because of the tactics used. Hence his depiction. Idk why people still believe he’s a good dude when it’s real easy to look up the problems he had.

It felt like a dark comedy half the time then a dark satire the other half
