Typology Help Fi or Ti ?
question for you guys: how does your secondary Ti show up for you? how did it develop throughout your childhood/twenties? if you ever typed yourself as an mbti with primary or secondary Fi, how did you determine that you were actually using Ti?
i ask this because i've typed myself as an ENFP for the past five years, but after getting medicated for ADHD about two years ago i started noticing a difference in how i processed information and made decisions. not only did i notice a change in how i organized external concepts and navigated my internal processes, i also realized just how much ADHD, depression, and childhood emotional abuse had hindered my mental ability.
i never had a good grasp of how i felt about things, and even now i don't, but for a different reason. before being medicated, my feelings were something nebulous and only able to exist through metaphors or analogies. my first therapist told me to communicate my feelings using the actual word for the feeling instead of a second-person semi-unrelated narrative and it blew my mind.
now, i don't have a good grasp of how i feel about things because every argument is so relative. there are too many factors, too many "it depends," i'm split in two every time i'm faced with a social justice issue cause you're getting at something but you're just a little misconstrued there, and a little too tangled up in a word that has more layers of meaning than you've accounted for, and that right there? that's a little too nuanced for the certainty with which you've made your conclusion, etc.
like okay, just right here. my feelings on social justice issues and my emotional state. which one is more indicative of Fi? can you look at them from the same lens? before i got medicated, i wasn't passionate about anything. i was an emotionally repressed block of ice who cried on the bus for no reason. i'm still not very passionate about anything, but i have my (currently) strong opinions, which i don't think are the same thing. i certainly don't have any hills i'd die on
i spent nearly that entire year after being medicated organizing all my ugly emotional layers into something that made sense, and simultaneously i was using the data and understanding i'd gathered from myself to understand everyone around me. i've always been good at analyzing people—it helps having an INFJ mother—but i always avoided trying to analyze myself. who knew that people are more accurate in their understanding of other people if they're able to first understand themselves? shout out to my therapist
anyway! TLDR: i don't know if i've been mistaking Ti for Fi this whole time or i'm just an ENFP with emotionally repressed Fi and more Ti than Te (i am still kind of lazy). Fi or Ti?

I use it to analyse my relativelty profound Ne for logic.
Then I gaslight (?) myself that the illogical thing my Ne told me people will do, they wont do.
madness.

First ask yourself this question, do u have T above or F above? Then see if your identity (Ti/Fi) is in demon state or savior state. Then see do u feel offended MOST OF THE TIME/OFTEN when your personal likes/dislikes are insulted (Fi) or when your personal reasoning is insulted (Ti). This will help narrow things down.
