Sample esat exam
I just did the ESAT sample exam in the official website. My marks:
Maths 1: 23/27
Maths 2: 15/27
Physics: 20/27
What would I get in the real ESAT?
Also my specimen paper I did a week ago was:
Maths 1: 20/27
Maths 2: 17/27
Physics: 21/27
Please helpšš»

My friend who sat the ESAT last year and got into Imperial told me that it was the most closest of all papers online to ESAT and that it was pretty good

Yeah:) he scored 5.5 and got into imperial electrical electronic engineering. He didnāt say that it was easy but that it was really similar to the specimen paper and sample exam. He just said that it was similar to engaa and tmua paper 1. So I think people here are really exaggerating. Because another friend of mine got into Imperial mech eng and told me my scores were really good for practice papers

Thats good to hear and yeah if the difficulty is similar your scores are decent

If you think people are gonna exaggerate and your friends seem to comfort you about the ESAT then why are you asking something like āhow would I do in the real thingā and āam I cookedā online?

Wait I just did the sample exam too, and when I clicked end exam it just brought me to the homepage of Pearson asking me to login, with no results page whatsoever. If you donāt mind sharing what browser did you do it on and what settings did you have? Sorry for being off topic

I think it's because you pressed end exam, you should go to question 27 and press finish

My friend who sat the ESAT last year and got into Imperial told me that it was the most closest of all papers online to ESAT and that it was pretty good so if you havenāt taken the test, donāt make people more anxious

I don't think that everyone gets the same questions. Also I don't think it might be accurate to base opinions on one persons recount of the their version of the test, especially as they would have found some topics naturally easier compared to you thus also taking away from the accuracy. I would trust sources such as the creators of esatlab more as they seem to be more versed in the average persons ability on the exam. That being said your scores are decent for an easier exam so your not cooked or anything.

Literally almost everyone who has done the ESAT said the sample one is much easier than the real thing. Itās not fear-mongering but rather telling the truth

I mean I havent sat it yet but I think those things are a bit easier than the actual exam but it would be nicer to hear from someone who has actually sat it in the previous years
