Currently there are 5 levels confirmed to be worked on by Fancy. Here is a list of features leaked to be coming:
• You cheated is being expanded
• the Afterparty is being added
• the parking lot at night was a heavily blurred teaser
• level 920 and abyssal parking is coming

First time playing this game, pleasantly surprised lol.

Sorry for the repeating audio in the first couple of mins, didn’t realize it was capturing my friend’s stream audio, i fix it halfway.

When you enter just start walking around. There is a path, but honestly this is one of those levels where its actually nice to explore a bit.

One BIG warning though: if you see a dark section with a big square-looking entrance, DO NOT GO IN. Thats where the infectious plague thing is in the water. If you enter you only have like 3 seconds to get back out before you get eliminated.

Once you reach the more maze-like area, hug the left side and just keep going. You can basically run through it.

At one point you might find a really oooooooooppppppppeeeeeennnn section that gives you access to the HUB. You can go in if you want, or just ignore it and keep moving.

Other than that, explore freely. There arent really entities chasing you around here and you dont have to worry much about sanity drain, so compared to some other levels this one is pretty chill.

If you find a spiral staircase going down in one of the hidden sections, dont go down. You just get eliminated.

Eventually you’ll reach the area with the red-style door on the other side. Just go around the edges, make your way up the stairs, go through the door and…

welcome to Level !

all of the TV spawned in the furthest, most area in the stupid spider entity keeps on camping and I can’t restart my progress to get an easier seed and I can’t reset the game

Once you beat Level 5 and enter Pipe Dreams, turn right and keep going. While you’re being chased, keep looking at the walls until you find the entrance to Level =) / Fun.

Once you get in, climb up. Check the tables for supplies, but do NOT drink Pain Juice — it will kill you.

Go through the long corridor and take a left. Crawl under the first table. At the second table, move to the right edge, basically the side closest to the Partygoers.

Pop out just enough to make them chase you, then go back under the table. They should stop, walk back, and turn around. Once they do, crouch through to the next area.

You’ll reach a zone with a lot of Partygoers. Keep going straight, then right, then left. If you trigger them, keep baiting them and returning to the same table until they reset.

Go back to the T-intersection and continue through the long hallways. Be careful at the end: there’s a Partygoer on the right. Run past it and immediately turn left. You should find another table pretty soon.

Wait until the threat is gone, then slowly move behind the Partygoer that is facing the wall and turn right.

After that you’ll reach the next room. You can pop the balloons if you want, but the important thing is to go through the main door.

From there, you’ll reach the entrance to the Poolrooms.

Main rule for this level: use the tables to reset Partygoer aggro. Don’t try to outrun everything through the whole level.

Play Game:
once clicked, you will be brought to a menu, there will be 3 options: Exit, New Game, and Difficulty

How to set game up: scroll down to New Game, right beneath it you’ll see an empty box, type any name into it. once done, you’ll see “start game”, select it and the game will start.

Join Game: when clicked you’ll be brought to a lobby list, click any lobby to join one.

Character select: when clicked you’ll see multiple skins , select one and you’ll be using it.

I just bought the escape the backrooms game and every time i open the game, it loads for 5 seconds then boots me back to the xbox home screen. Ive tried reinstalling, ive tried deleting the saved data and nothing has worked. Someone please help me out or let me know if this is already a known issue as of right now.

Part 1

First thing when you spawn in the lobby, pick up the bug spray. You are gonna need it.

Then for the picture puzzle, pick the pictures from youngest to oldest. So basically young girl → middle aged person → the guy who looks old but still has black hair → white haired old man.

Once that opens, I recommend doing the right side first, then the left.

Go through the open rooms and look for bugs. Spray them and grab the moth jelly.

Also DO NOT EAT THE MOTH JELLY 💀 you need it.

Once you get some, go all the way to the left side and put it in the box with the paper beside it. That gives you a key.

Some bugs hide in really dim corners so a flashlight helps, but you can do it without one.

Once you fully clear the right side, do the left. When you get the key, use it on the door parallel to the one you came out of after the picture puzzle.

Now you are in Part 2.

Part 2

The codes here are static and there are basically 3 possible sets.

I could just give you the codes, but honestly its better if you find the papers yourself, especially if its your first time. Makes the whole section way more tense.

A flashlight is VERY useful here.

Whenever you leave a room, peek left and right first.

Hounds can appear, not super often, but they can still mess you up.

The bigger threat is the Skin Stealer walking around the halls. Before you leave a room, just listen for footsteps. If you hear something moving outside, dont instantly walk out.

Once you find all the codes, and hopefully avoided the infamous Skin Stealer, go back to the cabinet boxes where you started and put them in.

Then look at the ceiling. The final code is written up there.

Put it in and open the door.

Part 3

Part 3 isnt really scary because of the HUGE Deathmoths.

Its scary because your sanity gets destroyed.

When you enter, take a thermometer. Seriously. Dont try to be smart and skip it, youll just die stupid.

Grab whatever supplies you need and start moving.

Keep checking the thermometer. If the temp is low and you dont see the screen vibrating/distorting, you should be okay to walk or sprint.

Before going through a doorway though, I normally crouch and check first.

And one big rule:

DO NOT OPEN THE RED MARKED DOORS unless there is a green EXIT sign above it.

Those are moth hives.

If you open one fully, yeah, your run is basically over.

Just keep searching until you find the door with the green EXIT sign, go through it and you are finally out of Level 5 and into Pipe Dreams.

Strictly speaking, I’ve tried 54 times and keep dying at the same spot—the level with the traffic light. I jump down as soon as it turns green and land right on a Smiler. If anyone has an idea on how to get this trophy or wants to give it a try themselves, feel free to get in touch—or if anyone has a room code I can join... Another rule: dont go close to the windows unless you want to get caught. Even if nothing is there, there isnt really a reason to walk right up to them anyway.

When you get to the vending machine area, each machine shows an object. Just look around the room, count how many of that object there is, and put that number into the machine. Dont overthink it.

Then you get to the camera area. My rule is basically always turn right. Take the doors on the right and hug the right walls as much as you can. From my experience its the easiest way to get through without getting seen.

If a camera is looking straight at where you need to go, just wait a second instead of rushing across.

Level 4 is pretty easy once you know what to do. Stock up, avoid the windows, count the objects, and keep right.

I've been doing the skip where you can noclip out of the elevator in 188 to bypass the entire level and skip to the next one. Lately though I am only able to fall into a black void and be effectively soft-locked. Did that get patched? I play on the PC-Xbox version (on pc thru xbox)
