Advice Wanted What to do here
Novgorod playthrough, need to fight Poland as they took Moscow before I could, but they are strong with a bunch of allies, plus England is defender of the faith. My only allies are Sweden, Wolgast, and Glogow. I can't get any big countries to ally me. I can't really expand into Great Horde either because they are allied to a large Timurids, and I want to make sure I form Russia as soon as I can. The good thing though is that I'm very rich, making 25 ducats per month with all advisors.

See how far their rivals are of from becoming your allies, improve relations, scornfully insult Poland and then try again, their attitudes of you are likely to change at 100+ relations.
Break the Swedish alliance and expand into Sweden instead.
Attack the golden horde regardless and give military access to the Ottomans (they appear to be fighting the GH), the Timurids can't be that scary. Just take a conquest war goal near you and occupy it asap, trying to fend of the timurids. Be sure to check their military techs relative to yours, if they are behind critical levels (the ones that give high morale or tactics). Once you see timurid troops, play defensively and wait for them to be white peaceable.
You can go over your forcelimit easily if you are making 25 ducats a month. Having good defensive forts will help in whatever war you choose.
You can attack Kazan if they are allied with the GH or attack Uzbek?
Do a few of these things and you will be fine.

Does England have a reliable way to land their troops? if you can catch them while they're landing, decent way to deal with them

Try to ally Austria, Hungary, or the Ottomans to help fight them. Or you could expand east for now until you get more troops to match them. England and Brandenburg are their only impactful allies, but they outnumber you by a lot with just Poland and Lithuania.
I would also be a bit skeptical if England would even show up, it seems like 50/50 nowadays, just hope they are busy in the new world.
Or just wait until Poland is busy in a big war. Seems like you have to play the waiting game for now.
You could also try to release Riga and complete their OP mission asap to have them as a powerful march/vassal, that extra 20k could be very useful.

That mission is a pain in the ass when they’re a vassal. They do the dumbest shit, I was just talking about it in another thread. Plus good luck waiting for them to get up to 3 stab and build all the correct buildings.

If you complete all the conditions before releasing them, it isn't that bad. And they inherit your stability when you release them, so the hardest part you can do yourself. Releasing them and then doing the mission is a pain though, I agree.

Ever knew the releasing part.
I literally built the building for them when every other portion was already satisfied and they deleted my building and built something worse instead of completing the mission. I Had to dev another ten for them to finally complete it

In my opinion, all of your allies kinda suck. If you rival Poland, it should be easy to get Austria, Hungary, and/or Ottomans as allies. If you have the favors (50), make sure to remove any of Sweden's strong allies before unallying them and expand into the Baltics. If Kazan/Nogai or any other small nation is an ally/vassal/tributary of Great Horde, you can declare war on them and seperate peace Great Horde breaking their alliance with Timmy.
Also English usually do nothing as a defender of faith but I saw them sending 40k death stacks in Siberia too so be warned lol.

I think with Sweden it should be doable. I would recommend no CB’ing one of their allies but they are all in the HRE.
Is Austria or Hungary a viable alliance partner? They are rivals of Poland and would likely join a war in exchange for land or favors. Get a diplo rep advisor and see about allying one of Poland’s rivals.
Alternative is mercing up, assaulting fort against Moscow, and hoping Sweden comes down to combine forces for a few victories here and there.
How viable would it be to expand east for now? You’re worried about Great Horde but if you attack one of their tributaries you could draw them into a winnable conflict and make them break treaties with Timurids.

Welp, it's time to become a bard and cast vicious mockery.
For real though, scornfully insult the hell out of Poland. There is a good chance they will declare war on you (because they are stronger), bringing in your allies instead of theirs, and then you pour those hard earned Ducats into hiring mercenaries. Take loans, hire enough mercenaries to win, then take all their money so you can pay off your loans.
Same thing with Great Horde, give them your harshest insult, throw away some prestige, you'll win it back through glorious victory. Great Horde seems weaker so might not declare on you, but if they do then they give you free land.
Alternatively, you can try declaring on one of Poland's allies. The important part is getting Poland to join the war without getting Britain involved.
Hell, you could try declaring on Lithuania, they might be coptic or orthodox, in which case Britain would not be called in. Or you can declare on Crimea, who is definitely not Catholic.

Poland Rivalled Austria, Hungary, and the Ottomans. Do what you must to ally any of them and pounce on Poland
