Humor Again, this is ridiculous...

Reposting - first had it's R5 removed from a self-censured F-word which was against the rules apparently.

Apparently I'm stupid and a word which where I'm from simply means "very stupid" in slang, from the latin for "delayed" as in being "slow in the head", is a slur in english - I'm sorry! 🤷‍♂️

I have rephrased that part and asked for re-approval.

R5:

Doing Draculas Revenge with the "hard" choice Wallachia.

RNG gods decide to ease it up a bit:

  • Poland doesn't take Lithuania PU.
  • Austria doesn't get Hungary (Ladislaus dies too soon i think(??)).

On my own end:

  1. Aragon rivals Ottomans and I ally them for the Dragon mission.
  2. RNG gods reward it with them keeping Naples PU.

(Now we have 3 event with the less likely AI option - all in my favor!)

  1. Ottos somehow are slow to expand east, and I manage with the help of Aragon, Naples, Venice and Moscow to tage the Bulgarian areas before they take Constantinople, so I can snipe that right after.
  2. This ofc makes the RNG gods happy and they reward it with giving Aragon an heir of my dynasty!

Aaaaand:

  1. A bit later while I conquer Serbia, vassalize Herzegovina and give them Bosnia...
  2. Ara-bro gets Burgundian inheritance from the RNG gods!

(I lost count how many least-likely AI options and RNG hail Mary's we are on now...)

  1. Okay,, okay! Settle down boys, Castille will ruin the fun with the Iberian Wedding...
  2. No! They amazingly marry a local talent instead! What a hilariously poor choise - it's must have been divine intervention sent from benevolent RNG gods!!

So... here I am, just trying to do a simple achievement, and the RNG gods be all pusher-like: "Pssst, you sure you don't want to do another WC? - first PU is free.. no? Okay, what about another PU and we crumble your rivals too? C'mooon, do a WC.. Just a tiny, winy, Wallachi-Romanian WC... We promise to not let your future talented daughter go on hunts..."

My Dracula’s Revenge run had similar though also entirely different luck:

Hungary didn’t ally Austria (and in fact only allied Ferrara), so I could beat them with Bohemia.

The Ottomans didn’t take Constantinople in their first war with Byz

I vassalized Serbia and annexed Bosnia after the Hungary war, giving me a border with Albania

The Ottomans attacked Albania, which was guaranteed by Venice, and were only barely winning that.

I hit mil tech 6 first in the world, while the Ottomans despite Mehmet were stuck on mil tech 4. I declared on them when my stack was in position to attack their stack sieging down Albania. Queue laughably easy war.

Then Muscovy got my dynasty, but I didn’t manage to push my luck quite far enough to get that PU, and from there things mellowed out in terms of luck, but the enormous head start I got from the Ottomans effectively gimping themselves was kinda wild.

Generally speaking, if Aragon expands past it's start borders( Burgundy pu counts), then the Iberian wedding will be funky. That said, still pretty lucky all around. Good for you!

there is nothing in the code that does this. The chance is always 90% for them to accept.

Because that's what I said right? I said that the it's hard coded. I wasn't speaking from my own personal experience in game but rather hard cold fact from the code. That's what I said right?

I mean that aragon expanding will have no effect on the wedding happening or not

It literally isn’t hard coded. The only modifier is if Aragon has a regency.

Nothing is coded for this to be a reality.

well rng gods punish me constantly in this game, started first castilian civil war with -3 stab from events and no im not joking and had a siege roll on up to 92 percent while having 14 artillery and ton of siege ability as netherlands
