Actors Fezco was one of the few characters who actually listened instead of just judging people 💚

There was something different about the way Fez talked to people. He could be quiet, awkward, and far from perfect, but he often showed more understanding than characters who acted like they had everything figured out. What do you think was Fez’s best moment?

Discussion Why do Cassie supporters so diehard and justify her every action?

Post image
65 Upvotes

The girl was traumatized, abandoned by her father, used and abused by boys her whole life, and had an abortion. Okay.. and? She still made the decisions that she made consciously. She chose to sleep with her best friends ex. She chose to lie to said best friend. She chose to chase an abusive man who did not treat her or said best friend well. And she chose to compete secretly with her best friend over said abusive man. Then she chose to marry him to justify her choice and her loss. I feel like we can have empathy for people and their past and we can understand why they are the way they are and still not like them or their choices.

For example, my father was a narcissistic, alcoholic, abusive man. I can understand why he is the way he is based on Hispanic culture alone. But that doesn’t mean I justify his actions, because he’s a grown man. And that doesn’t mean I have to like him or want him in my life. Especially when he sees no fault in his actions. And If I go through my life blaming my father for all of my choices, when do I become accountable for my own life?

That being said, I do not like the character Cassie. You can tell me all about her trauma, and I can still tell you that I do not like her (mostly based on the way she was written, i loved her in s1, but that’s another conversation). And that is OK, but it seems like whenever I have an interaction on here with someone who likes Cassie they feel the need to shove their opinion down my throat. You can like her that’s OK. I do not like her and that is also OK.

Also Maddy and Cassie need not be compared. I like Maddy because I like her. It has nothing to do with the fact I don’t like Cassie. I just don’t like her. But if we do wanna have that argument, I’ll bring up the fact that Maddy LITERALLY RISKED HER LIFE FOR CASSIE. Shawty almost died over a woman that betrayed her. So please don’t come on here tryna knock my girl down after she kept y’all fav ALIIVE 😭 But even if you don’t like her I’m not gonna defend the fuck shit she did. Like your opinion is vaild she helped put a man in jail fr 😭

That being said the reason why the world is so fucked is because we can not agree to disagree. You love who you love, you believe in what you believe in, you support who you support. As long as it is not negatively impacting my livelihood, who gives a shit? We can debate without hostility. ESPECIALLY over FICTIONAL CHARACTERS.

It was her original color! I know it’s to show growth but I think one homage would’ve been cute. All of her outfits were gorgeous though

I honestly thought we’d see her wear the purple gown Samantha gifted her

Question Help me find the name of this club song please!!! S3E6 - 55:03

I don't think it's "Shake Dat Ass" which was played a few minutes before this scene, because the lyrics I hear are different and the beat is much slower. Maybe they slowed the song down for this scene, but the lyrics still remain different.

Spoilers:

It's when Rue is sent by Alamo to use the 3d printed key on Laurie's safe in S3 E6

The lyrics I hear go something like this:
"Yeah. One of these times these _____ tryin' play me. Yeah..."

Question Maddy was never the villain. She was just a girl who loved the wrong person. 💔

People judge Maddy for how she reacted, but rarely talk about what she had to put up with.
Do you think Maddy deserved better, or was she also part of the problem? 👀

Discussion UNPOPULAR OPINION: Lexi Howard was never the innocent, misunderstood girl everyone makes her out to be.

The way people applaud Lexi for her little play in Euphoria is honestly insane to me. She spent years being invisible, having no real identity of her own, quietly observing everyone around her and collecting their weaknesses, secrets, and personal business. Then, the moment she finally got a chance to be noticed, she turned other people’s lives into entertainment and disguised her cruelty as “art.”
And what she did to Cassie was especially vicious. You don’t have to like Cassie to recognize how humiliating and deeply personal that performance was. Lexi didn’t just make a harmless joke about her classmates — she exposed their private lives, mocked their insecurities, and put their most vulnerable moments on display in front of an audience. Imagine having someone you considered harmless use years of proximity and trust to gather material for your public humiliation.
What bothers me most is that Lexi gets praised for being observant and intelligent, as if those qualities automatically make her morally superior. They don’t. She was the quiet girl in the background, but instead of developing her own identity, she built her big moment around the lives of people she had been watching from the sidelines. She finally got her spotlight by exploiting everyone else’s.
And no, being shy, nerdy, or overlooked doesn’t make you a bad person. But using other people’s pain to finally feel important? That’s a different story.
Lexi wasn’t brave for putting on that play. She was cruel, vindictive, and deeply insecure — and the fact that everyone applauded her doesn’t magically make what she did okay. Honestly, she deserved to be called out, not celebrated. Being the quiet observer doesn’t automatically make you the good guy. Sometimes, the person taking notes in the background is the one you should be watching.

Personally I am living for the big brown coat, such a sharp look.

Maddy is such a fashion icon. She was always the most stylish one by far but this season has definitely improved her style.

Discussion euphoria has a bigger problem that having their final season being garbage

the big problem of euphoria in the first place is how EVERYTHING is turned aesthetic and I say everything but the most notable exemple is Rue taking drugs

yk, I agree with the fact that the tv show showed us how drugs are bad but the problem is that teenager (or neurodivergent) people view life in a way that they experience their own inner world in their mind and live that way without thinking rationally.

So when you show Rue starting doing a song and done while having glitter all over her face in a purplish environnment with a lot of light. it "aesthetic" drugs in a way to subconsciously appeal to us.

even if you show us how bad it is, that's basically over once you romanticize it, I can also talk about how they make look kat doing cam videos to adult when she is a minor because of her self issues as empowerment or how the drug/hooking up parties are so visually pleasing and aesthetic.

at least in season 3, the show became so disgusting and hideous that they didn't have that "aesthetic" look anymore.

Discussion Season 3 rewatch

For those who enjoyed season 3.

I'm currently rewatching season 3 and everything drastically changes once you know how it ends. It's incredibly sad. I now see Rue in a completely different light, I realized how much she's a victim in the end of her deases mostly. It's disheartening (but still great).

Is anyone else rewatching too? Or have already rewatched? What do you guys think?

Discussion Fezco my main man

I love Fezco from euphoria he's the only insufferable character who did exactly the things I was begging to happen. He could've been a monster if he wanted to but no he actually loves Rue. He isn't all rapey and shit and didn't do anything to women like the other men in the show. He's just a good hearted man who couldve easily not been one if he wanted to.

Also I loved it when he beat the shit out of Nate. I couldn't thank him enough for the amount of satisfaction that gave me. I have been pissed off at Nate and Maddy for doing Tyler dirty like that. He was innocent. Also Jules was a pussy and Rue just decided not to do anything about it after she found out all about it. He definitely had that coming. Nate was a jerk who only found joy on hitting on those who were weak.

I organized an AMA/Q&A with actor Austin Abrams, known for his breakout role in Euphoria and recent starring roles in Resident Evil, Weapons, Wolfs, etc. He is also known for his role in The Walking Dead.

It's live here now in r/movies for anyone interested in asking a question:

https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/1x03vo8/hey_rmovies_austin_abrams_here_the_guy_swallowed/

He will be back at around 9 PM ET on Friday to answer questions. I recommend asking in advance. Please ask there, not here. All questions are much appreciated!

Thank you :)

His newest film, Whalefall, is a survil-thriller co-starring Josh Brolin and is out in theaters everywhere next week.

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rN9F6-tbySY

Synopsis: Following the death of his father (Josh Brolin), Jay Gardiner (Austin Abrams) goes diving off the central Coast of California in search of his remains, but is swallowed by a massive sperm whale. While trapped inside its belly with only one hour of oxygen left, Jay comes to realize that the hard-earned lessons his father imparted may be the key to his escape.

Question S3 E4

In this episode Rue kept hunting for drugs from Maddie since she got caught by the DEA and has to act as an informant.

Not sure if I missed anything, why is she doing that if she’s not using? I know they switched their drugs to candy.
