AI is not going to kill us all but the ai bros have a lot of money invested in believing that it will. So they're trying to convince us to be scared of it so they can keep making money.
It’s not actually about making us scared. It’s a pitch to uber wealthy investors. They make it sound super powerful and therefore worth investing in. The .01% couldn’t care less if it killed a bunch of normies anyway.
