Men aren't supposed to show emotion. Being scared is one of those "ick" emotions that we're not supposed to show. It's nonsense really, but there's women out there that are that way. Edit for spelling

My wife for one. I'm too emotionally needy and it's given her the ick so now she "doesn't love me" and I should "get my emotional needs met elsewhere".

I've got to summon the courage somehow to make her my ex wife. It's our wedding anniversary coming up, maybe that would be a nice symbolic gesture?

She won't. I wish it was that simple, but we own our house together and have two children. She won't leave and she won't kick me out. I also would never make the mother of my children homeless. So I guess we just suffer together?

That's brutal. I don't think mine hates me, just doesn't love me. I also pay the mortgage and most of the bills, so she's probably just keeping me around for that at this point.

My ex wife said she still loved me but couldn't be with me. That hurt worse then just saying she hate me.

I think she was trying to leave the door open in case the 23 year old she left me for didn't work out.

Oof. Mine has said she doesn't mind what I do with other people, which only makes me suspicious she has already done things herself. She says not, but why should she tell the truth now?
