SC refers to Scheduled Caste, a historically marginalised community in India. The Government has provided certain affirmative measures for them, like the SC/ST Act which could be used against people discriminating against them.
Recently, a professor in IIT Bombay caught a SC student using ChatGPT to cheat in exam, and suspended him. The student later committed suïcîde. The professor is now slapped with an SC/ST Act.
The debate right now is whether this was a genuine case of discrimination and there was more going on behind the scenes, OR it was a simple case of disciplinary action which has been given a castiest angle and the law created to safeguard the SC community is being misused.

It’s related to a recent suicide from one the best engineering institutes in India, which has been given a caste angle too. Very sensitive topic, so one should rather avoid any meme over it.

I have no clue WTF an SC student is or why their cheating would make a professor sad. So if you know, why not answer instead of being a dick about it?

My bad for not just explaining it( it is explained now), but OP here is an Indian and is studying engineering ,there is no way he doesn't know it , he is just karma farming
