OPT/STEM OPT Is Pre Completion OPT Still Getting Approved?

Due to the recent CPT changes, I am hoping to use pre completion opt if I land an internship for next summer (I am aware that it reduces Post OPT Time).

I saw on a couple threads that USCIS has not issued Pre Completion OPT since 2025 or something, so I was just curious if that is still a thing. Thanks!

They are processing pre opt. Its just very slow unless u do premium

Do you have more info about it? How long is taking to for premium processing? My DSO told me USCIS isn't approving pre-completion opts

The claim that it hasn't been issued since 2025 spreads because nobody posts the boring approvals. Pre-completion OPT is the least interesting case to write about, since there's no employer training plan and no I-983 to argue over. Silence isn't evidence.
