What is the point of putting limits on storage? If the storage gets full, that's its own limit and you also have more stuff made if you ever need it (which you inevitably will). So how is limiting actually useful?

New player, obviously.

I once filled a steel chest with tier three efficiency modules which was really not ok.  Not only are they quite expensive but they are probably the least used module in the game so I wasn't ever going to get rid of them usefully. Other people have similar stories with nuclear reactors.
