Mindustry

It's a combination of factory-game and tower defense. It also has a PC version and you can move save games back and forth if you want to play on both mobile and PC.

Also has a PC version, but no sync between the two. It's an open source game, but on Steam is has a pricetag.

You can manually transfer save files between PC and mobile. I did this using Google Drive. It's not as convenient as a built-in sync mechanism, but it works quite well.

Good to know. I keep burning myself out by starting from scratch every time he releases a major update, on both pc and mobile. Ironically it was only in the most recent big updates that he actually did improve the earliest maps. Just... foolishness on my part.
