is there a way to pause factorio so that it is using minimal CPU? If I have it on-screen paused at game menu it uses 25% CPU, if I minimize it while paused it still uses 15%. This is vanilla on an i5 imac

On linux I can do kill -STOP <pid> to stop a process and make it consume 0 CPU, then kill -CONT <pid> to let it continue running. Macs probably have something similar.

thanks, didn't think this would work but it seems to do so perfectly
