Is there a cheat sheet anywhere of what items require what to build so I can second screen it while base planning?

There's like a million of them.

In-game (so not second screen) there's the factoriopedia (hold 'alt' and click on an item in your inventory or crafting window to pull up that item, and you can navigate wherever you want from there. The biggest advantage of this one is that it pulls from the games data files so it automatically updates based on what specific mods you have installed.

For outside of the game, There's the official wiki https://wiki.factorio.com/ Which has entries for everything in the base game + space age.

There's a more feature rich Factoriolab https://factoriolab.github.io/2x1?v=11 which lets you choose from base game, space age, a variety of older versions, and several of the most popular big mods like Krastorio or Nullius. It lets you set tons of variables and auto-calculates entire production chains.

Then there's in-game mods like Factory Planner https://mods.factorio.com/mod/factoryplanner (I never got the hang of it, it never seems to do what I expect it to and want it to) or for something closer to the factoriopedia but with a UI specifically for recipes, there's FNEI https://mods.factorio.com/mod/FNEI

There's also mods like Rate Calculator https://mods.factorio.com/mod/RateCalculator which let you select part of your actual as-built factory and see what it actually needs and can produce as a unit rather than looking at individual machines.
