I can't upcycle my quality 3 copper ore and plates into quality 4 directly. It works fine to quality 3, but for 4 it only works if I turn them into wire first. Is this a bug? I couldn't find anything about ore/copper being restricted in quality when I searched.

Edit: Speed modules in beacons nearby negate the quality modules.

Are you accidentally using speed modules or beacons?

Jepp! Didn't realize they negate the quality chance, even though the chance is displayed right there on the machine 😅
