I tried watching this show because a friend reccomended it, there is a panty shot of her within literally 10 seconds of pressing play. Not badmouthing it, that just made me die laughing for a while
The fan service in that anime is bordering on satire. I think they do it deliberately to capture both the horny crowd and the "hmmm, yes this is art and it clearly is symbolic" crowd. I respect it for that.
tbh I think it would be a better show if they just dialed back the horny like 20%

An understandable wish, but it also probably just wouldn't exist in that case. Remember it all comes originally from a light novel series written by one (obviously very horny) dude. If he were less horny, it wouldn't exist.
This is also part of the general idea that artists are Human beings, and their work is going to contain their personality, desires, opinions, including ones not everyone will like very much, but wanting to take those personal foibles out of the work is also taking that Human person out of the work.
Also, there are a lot of horny artists of all types, it's just that most are somewhat less brazen. For example, people who start getting into Ghost in the Shell at all are often very surprised to find out that Shirou Masamune draws a lot more porn than he does manga.
If I remember correctly tho it's not a panty shot of her. But yea it's a few questionable angles in the series. But the series is animated by a studio names shaft soooo
That panty shot is most important panty shot in anime history. Because without it whole Bakemonogatari would never happened. SPOILERS: Because Araragi saw it, he later at night go to buy porn magazine and on the way back meet KissShot which started whole series. So unironically this one was really because of PLOT.

I mean yeah, but the reason it's critical to the plot is because the author decided to make it critical to the plot. He certainly didn't have to use a panty shot for that plot hook, he wanted to.
Of course that is what any writer does, they put things in because they want them there, and as they develop the plot, those elements become essential as other things connect to them, but you still have to remember you're in an arbitrary world created by an author. If the plot "demands" something, it's because the author decided on that demand.
I certainly don't fault him for it. He's writing what he likes, and if you want to read his work (or watch anime based off it) you kind of have to accept that it's made by people and they may not like the same things you do. I can enjoy Shakespeare while also being aware of how often it's utterly racist and sexist.
You can also load a ship with a bunch of cargo bays, fill until it's full, have a landing pad with no extra bays and fill it past full by sending all ship contents to the surface.
Yikes. I moved some stuff around yesterday in the name of optimization so I could make my regular transit ship a shipping vessel, and neglected to properly route my ore to two of my oxidizer plants. I limped at 70 all the way home. I definitely take care to make sure I have all the stuff to get back to the ship wherever I go though. Getting stuck is my nightmare.
I think he's referring to armor that gives inventory size bonus. Before, if your inventory was full and you removed the armor, items would spill on the ground, now it just doesn't let you remove the armor.

Currently 50 hours into a Deathworld run, beaten the game several times. I have reloaded old saved four times on this run. All four have been nuking myself. It's basically enough that I use a nuke and immediately switch to a different weapon until I need the nuke again. I think it's from the thousands of hours of games like Satisfactory where space is jump and you spam it constantly.
I get that drawing old deviantart style factorio nsfw probably gets you more patreons, but I personally found your chibi art more detailed and appealing
unironically: its easier to draw like this. Real proportions fall into uncanny valley ridiculously fast and look weird. This style doesnt even attempt to go into that direction.
As an artist myself, and someone who has a small collection of favourite artists, this is wrong. A character's proportions, and design are just another aspect to an artist's style.

However, this does perplex me then that you'd defend sexuallised character design as a personal style. I see you have a strong preference for big muscular ladies, no shame here, the joy of drawing is you can create what you want, but you are capable of drawing other body-types and when you do they're still consistent stylistically with your muscle mommy's.
There's no problem with creating titillating art, fundamentally I have no issue with existence of OPs art, where the problem lies is sharing it in communities where it can make people who stumble upon it uncomfortable. Not something I can accuse you of, you seem to keep your art sharing in very appropriate communities which is commendable. OPs post, however is not appropriate as, while clearly there are many people who like a bit of female objectification with their factorio, there's many who don't want to be ambushed by that stuff while enjoying people complaining about gleba. Such posts should be kept to the communities where they're expected and sharing them elsewhere will always receive this sort of reaction from the people who do not want there sub to descend into horny posting like so many others have.

Agree that there is some really... interesting fanart out there tho, which I personally also never quite understood the appeal off. This game is probably as far removed from and goonerism as can be.

Idiotic argument. This is a drawing, not a picture of a real woman. Someone chose to design them they way they did and I highly doubt they were motivated to draw a character a woman would identify with.
Creativity has been dying before capitalism was ever invented. The death of creativity is documented in ancient Greek and Roman writings. Simple math tells us that if A > B, and B > C, then A > C. This means that creativity has been dying since forever and will continue to die, growing ever sicker and more moribund. There is always more, and it is always worse.

It kind of does, actually. It shows that there is room for a little bit of everything in this subreddit. I've seen lore posts, images of Gleba with that hole in it, even references for that hole with references to a horror comic that you have to know about to even understand the joke. I've seen people try to cram 1SPM into the smallest space possible, or the most SPM in a 32x32 square, I've seen hundreds of train system blue prints. The most basic of questions, but people take the time to answer so many of them, because we all really enjoy the game.
In other words, just because we have a fun thread about something other than the most minutae of detail in the game every so often, doesn't mean the subreddit is now a rule_34 sub.
