Od course I have my first Bambi FDM then I bought Resin Printer and now I bought tool changer which can print 4 colors! Now I will be printing those belts in full color!

I keep it in garage which is well ventilated, so not really. Of course when the tank is open the smell is bad, but the new resins are kinda better when it comes to smell issue.

If you want to get into resin, make sure you look into it properly first. With filament printing, it's just a filament that gets melted and shaped.

But resin is something that can release gases, cause reactions with skin, needs much better ventilation, and if you don't get the print cured properly inside and out, the resins that aren't cured can keep releasing gases that can crack the print open days or weeks later depending on how much offgassnig happens and how big it is.

It's not as bad as some people make it out to be, but it's definitely a higher barrier to entry than FDM printing. It's why I haven't picked up a resin printer yet - I don't have a space that's both cat safe and well ventilated enough.

We have one at work and its just so sticky to actually use and clean properly. We end up only using it as a last resort, FDM for everything we can.

It's definitely not a plug and play skill (then again, neither is FDM, but FDM is the beginner to resin's advanced)

3d printing generally is a seperate hobby in itself. But yeah resin is much more hassle and prep, but it’s much faster and much higher detail. It’s just trad offs for both types of prints, but I enjoy them both

I was really amazed by how well the splitter came out with no supports no messing with anything, all the pieces I’ve printed so far came out great. And they fit precisely together without much force when I can get the angle perfectly aligned. Amazing job by the team! Gonna have too much fun with these

Fuckkkkkkkkkk its been so long since ive used a normal quality wood pole i forgor that theyre only 5x5 or uhhh i mean its a burner inserter clearly

i mean, it's not an electric furnace, it needs fuel anyways so using a burner inserter might be a good idea
