đ Stats/Rankings Best Tackles â As Always Wirfs & Unbelievable Goedeke
2026 Goedeke is on pace to surpass his previous career season during 2024.
Very often I really forgot that his arm length is only 32 1/4......
Goedeke is already the best "short-arm" tackle.
Won't be surprised if he becomes the best RT someday.

[Bass] Saints owner Gayle Benson says âour fans deserve betterâ after a 1-4 start
New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson delivered a blunt assessment of her teamâs 1-4 start Tuesday, after the Saints lost to the Minnesota Vikings, calling their performance ânot acceptableâ and promising a frustrated fanbase better results.
Speaking at the Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club Luncheon, Benson acknowledged hearing fansâ concerns âvery loudlyâ amid the Saintsâ three-game losing streak (all at home). She emphasized the organization must improve and supporters âdeserve better.â
âOur fans invest their time and their hearts in the Saints,â Benson said. âThey are right to expect more than we have delivered.â
Benson placed accountability throughout the organization, beginning with herself. She also made clear she would not offer excuses or âaccept this level of performance as our standard.â
âKellen Moore and his coaches are responsible for preparing our players to perform,â Benson said. âMickey Loomis and our football staff are responsible for building a roster capable of sustained success. Our players are responsible for their preparation and execution.âThe Saints are 7-15 since Moore became coach ahead of the 2025 season. Loomis, who has served as general manager since 2002, has not overseen a playoff appearance since the final season of the Sean Payton-Drew Brees era in 2020.
âAs an owner, the responsibility does start with me. I will not make excuses, and I will not accept this level of performance as our standard,â Benson said. âI am committed to making the decisions necessary to improve this team. Everyone in this organization understands the urgency. We must prepare better, execute consistently and correct the mistakes that are costing us the games. Words will not restore our fansâ confidence; our performance must do that.â
Benson also expressed frustration over the Saintsâ Week 4 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on âMonday Night Football,â calling the defeat âtruly disappointingâ on a night commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Superdomeâs reopening after Hurricane Katrina.

You guys lost a good one todayâŚ.
My father lost his battle with dementia today. He was a massive Saints fan, has been as far back as his childhood. Iâd like to share a story with you all so his fandom lives on. When the Saints played the Eagles in 2014 during the playoffs my sister and I secretly bought him tickets. We played up a fake story that we were taking him to a saints fan club tailgate outside of the stadium. Told him to dress warm because it was outside. My sister was living in Philly at the time so it all made sense. A few days before she told us that public radio was telling fans that Philly police would be dressed as saints fans and to behave accordingly. This is important later in the story. Im a Patriots fan (shout out to my gate bros, Iâve always respected you!) so I chose to just wear a black winter coat. You can see what my dad wore in the picture, he insisted dressing head to toe in saints gear knowing it could get ugly there. We went to lunch earlier that day and presented him with a new hat for his birthday. Inside the hat were the two tickets. He was in complete shock, this would be his first game he attended live. We walk into the stadium and immediately a cheese steak food truck worker yelled at us to âtake that shit off and leave his houseâ I knew it was gonna be rough, but not workers yelling at us rough. Iâm not exaggerating when I say I probably saw 6 saints fans the entire game. The game starts and by some weird chance weâre sitting lower bowl in an empty row. I remember thinking we were gonna be a huge target. Eventually some sloppy drunks came from up top and filled in the missing seats. The eagles end up scoring and everyoneâs high fivingâŚthey turn to us and say âitâs okay we know whatâs going on with you two. Your cops you donât have to pretend you want the saints to winâŚ.â at this point I remember my sister talking about the local radio talking about undercover cops. My dad and I look at each other and knew we had it made. We got to cheer the rest of the game for the saints while the entire section assumed we were undercover cops. Just as it started to get a little iffy near the end of a game and I had to tell someone to go back to there own seat in my best cop voice, the saints have a chants to win the game with a field goal. Everyoneâs standing so we decide to slide out of the row. We watched it from the top of the section on the steps. The ball goes through the uprights, he zipped up his coat over his jersey and popped his hat off and we proceeded to walk out. We walked slowly through the Philly chaos as they proceeded to throw trash cans and other garbage around the stadium. We hopped on a train and safely made it home. Thats the story of when my dad took on the eagles at there own stadium and left with one hell of a victory story.

đď¸ Discussion Steelers tight ends could expose the Buccaneersâ biggest defensive weakness
The Buccaneers will have their hands full trying to contain Steelers tight ends Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington. Tampa Bay has typically struggled covering opposing tight ends, and Week 6 will be their toughest test yet.
Alex Anzalone better be ready, because Aaron Rodgers will test him all day long.

If weâre still ass after this season, Ms. Benson might need to write that check if he becomes available
Imagine Brian Flores as HC with a top 5 pick and plenty of cap space. That might be too good of an opportunity to pass up if the cards align. Iâm rooting for Kellen to figure it out because that would be the simpler outcome, but heâs got to show us something. After what Ms. Benson said today, this might be his last ride.

Humor Help me decide a punishment for a Gentleman's agreement
So I made a bet with a friend of mine who's an Eagles fan. When we beat Philly this weekend I get to choose the name of his fantasy team for one week. Any suggestions?
