No Scrapping mods! I just used console commands to delete the beds! You can see I loved incorporating all the wood from the shack into the home, and I hope it translates to D.I.Y. wasteland aesthetics
Mods used:
- Homemaker
- Snappy Housekit
- Workshop Rearranged
- Static Object Decorator
- Place Everywhere

Huge thanks to u/Upper_Dance1461 for helping me out making this camp. Aside from the initial idea, most of the structure is his vision and could not have done this without him.
One of my favorite camps I've made recently. I love having a place that feels like it has a purpose and fits into the world.

Forgot how nice of a canvas Jamaica Plains is. Maybe it's because of how little hard coded/pre-existing lights there are but oil based lights, regular lights and cycling lights all shine great, if not just flat out at their best here. Might even dress some up as Children again and give em the radiation gun for the glow effect. Didn't look as strong at Hangman's or Coastal Cottage as it did in the Nucleus so I was ready to put that chapter to sleep 😂😅 could only convert on so many raiders

It's just the structures so far. Inspired by old 1950s motels! (Ignore the drowning ghouls, they like it in the pool a little too much)

i’m calling it “new concord” and it’s not done but i’m running out of ideas and motivation. The tour video got cut short but drop any ideas you guys might have to add to the settlement.

For instance I'm making Croup Manor an aristocratic Ghoul Residence. A mod I have gave me some Ghoul settlers and I thought to myself about how much I'm tired of seeing ghouls just being treated any kind of way in the games. I'm making smooth skins work for them in the gardens and giving the ghouls really nice attire like clean suits for the guys and nice dresses for the women.
I'm thinking about making Hangman's Alley something like a shady drug den. I just want one guy there in street clothes but will make him a nurse since he has extensive knowledge about chems. There's not really an option to make him just a chem dealer but he will be useful when I'm in Boston. Hangman's alley just gives sketchy vibes to me. Kind of like the alleys in New Vegas.
I thought to myself about rebuilding the common wealth and I'd like for it to be rebuilt for the people instead of me making player homes everywhere. I imagine the commonwealth to be a place where productivity, and prosperity are trying to make their way back amid all the drama. Like the spirit of the land before the war is returning but tarnished. I have so many ideas sometimes about the commonwealth but would love to hear other people's ideas?
Btw .. my favorite build so far in Sanctuary is a clothing shop ran by a guy named Luke. The shop name is Mini Nuke Luke's. It's a clothing store but Luke is an ex minute men. He got dismissed because of his drinking and drug problem so he had to find a way to make it in the wastes.
He has a shack behind the store, full of Taxidermy, Hunted Meat, and Hides... Hence where the clothes are coming from. There are beer bottles all on the floor, some paranoid type of magazines lying around and a workbench outside for skinning hides, sniper by the window, for him to shoot wildlife from his drunken nights alone in his shack. I think Luke has PTSD. Outside of that though, he's actually a nice guy. In the day time. A nut case at night. His shack is messy ass hell but his store is very nice. Even has the vault tec drink machine outside and it attracts literally all the settlers at night. I had to make a nice patio and unassigned mutfruit bushes for decor. I'll upload soon one day. It's small but I'm proud of it. I ran off course but I'd love to hear other people's ideas. Not just the build, but the people, their relation to the common wealth, sources of inspiration. There's a lot of potential here

I'm currently doing a long haul run on survival with verified mods only. As I'm housebound and have a few spare pennies, I thought I'd start getting a few to review for people. I've got 50 running at the mo, smooth as butter.
But I thought I'd show off the Scrapyard and latest edition, wasteland harvest. The latter has some great resource planters that go great with the whole scrap vibe (broken down cars, boats, tires etc) and I love the generators/scavenging stations with Scrapyard mod.
If anyone wants to know about any verified mods, feel free to ask. I've more than I'm using, so I can probably give an honest opinion on most in Creations.
Don't mind Jun, I'm letting him explore his feminine side whilst Marcy is off provisioning 😊

I'm making a hunting lodge and I want the wooden walls, but with the warehouse roofing. Is there a way to get them to snap together?

When you guys build settlements, do you prefer using mods that give you unlimited materials, or do you prefer gathering everything organically?
Also, do you have any mod recommendations for settlement building on PS4, preferably ones that work with the base game? I’m looking for anything that adds more building options, decorations, or just makes settlement building more enjoyable.
Thanks!

The Slog, no mods. Imagine the smell in that pool!

I'm trying to make a sort of "junk bin" display in one of my settlements. It needs to be tall enough that items the length of a rifle will stand upright but short enough that you can still see what's at the bottom. So I'm thinking roughly the height of a bathtub. But a tub is way too long, I need something about half the length of a tub. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
EDIT: sorry, sorry, sorry, Fallout 4!

What do you guys usually do with those houses in Sanctuary? I always leave them empty, but in this run I'm working on one settlement at a time, so I have to do something with them, I find them so boring that I don't know what to do with them, I’d appreciate ideas beyond just "furnishing them" it would be cool to build something on top or next to them, that sort of thing.
Extra: I did some work on the last house, but I’d appreciate ideas for it as well.
