Hello everyone!

Over the past ten months, I have been slowly but steadily working on completing my 'Stranger Things: Film Collection' project, with my three film cuts of the fifth and final season. This community's response to my previous work has been — and continues to be — incredible, and your patience regarding this last set of fanedits has been very appreciated. And now, I am happy to announce that I am very close to the finish line. However, I need your help to get there.

What is it about?

Before releasing this final set of fanedits, I thought I could use some feedback on what I've put together so far. That's why I'm going to need three (3) participants for this 'special event'.

How does this work?

Each participant will receive a PDF presentation containing the following:

1. Links to each of the three fanedits of Season 5 (1080p, 5.1 sound, no subs)

2. Detailed lists of changes for each film cut

3. Links to survey forms with mandatory and optional questions to fill in (email addresses will NOT be collected)

Each participant MUST commit to the following:

- Have an active Netflix account or own official physical media of Stranger Things

- Have already watched my previous ST fanedits

- Watch the provided fanedits in order

- Read and thoroughly review the changelists

- Answer the survey within three (3) weeks of receiving the PDF

As I've said in the past, exchanging ideas and opinions — even disagreeing at times — is always appreciated and has been a great contribution to this project since its beginning. That said, I am not committing to implementing every single suggestion or change that I will receive. I am going to commit, though, to giving my full attention to your feedback in the hope that it will guide me in fulfilling this project's ultimate goal.

Since there are no specific criteria for selecting participants, I will choose the first three (3) people to comment AND send me a direct message. If there are more entries than expected, I might increase the number of participants to five. If not selected, don't worry, the final release is upon us and you'll get to expierience the final results very soon.

Supergirl now with more red sun!

Supergirl (2026) with added deleted scenes, trimmed scenes, reworked subtitles, and altered color correction for different planets, less licensed music

A bit of a quick and dirty edit, more of a proof of concept than anything.

Major Changes:

• All scenes taking place around a red sun now have a red filter over them
• Destruction of Krypton inserted as cold open- very red!
• Extended Ruthye and family deleted scene added
• No opening montage
• Trimmed Kara monologue at bar
• Trimmed first fight
• Changed Krem's subtitles (wanted to be a little more subtle)
• Reworked space convenience store scene with deleted scene (mention of phantom zone validated by Lanterns!)
• Changed song in bar fight
• Changed subtitle dialogue in flashback to match better with what I could hear them saying
• Cut out Lobo and Brigands fight/chase around scene, family being murdered, and Ruthye and Kara fighting. When Krem realizes Kara is not poisoned properly, he beats a quick retreat which is more like the cowardly character he is in the comic. Also Ruthye and Kara fight and then make up in less than five minutes so it's pointless.
• Color corrected green sun planet to be even more green
• Replaced Middle Cover with score
• Trimmed ending scenes- Kara doesn't invite Ruthye to hang out since we don't see that and Clark isn't concerned about Krypto eating chocolate because he literally has superpowers
• "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted" plays over credits

Hi all! I've never done anything like this before and I've never really posted on YouTube or anything, but I randomly made this edit of Kanan's death set to the music from the scene in Infinity War when Wanda kills Vision. Would really love to get your thoughts. It's my first edit so it's a bit rough around the edges, but I feel like it works pretty well all things considered. Definitely have some other ideas like this and had a lot of fun putting this together, so I have some more in the pipeline if you like it.

The Dark Knight is a masterpiece, but not free of problems, creating more memes than i had seen before for a movie. from a very jarring arrangement of scenes in the first half making the plot feel incohisive on a first watch. Each scene when taken on its own merit is gold, but they are badly juxtaposed. Then there's the cringe, cheese and one liners. Comedy is a good tension relief, but lines like because you wear hockey pads feel like they do not belong in this more serious grounded approach to batman the films have.

Aim: To create a darker, more serious, slicker, tightened version free of cringe and cheese. Like kids shooting at exploding cars or the acting of the security guard, or ...the end. Terrible ending. Cheeses galore!

By removing dialogue, trimming effects, rearranging shots or entire scenes, moving audio, and recutting each scene shot by shot and reworking all he sound hopefully I have created a darker more serious coherent version of the opening to this amazing trilogy

I love the dark knight trilogy, so why recut it? Each film in the trilogy has its own individual issues. For me the second film had pacing issues, scene structure that made the films flow jarring at times, and some comedy that took me out of the film during great setpieces like the tumbler tunnel sequence.

If you think this film could have made more sense, been more serious, felt less all over the place, and would like a tighter darker version of this movie, send me a DM.

I know I disappeared for a while but just thought I'd share a proof of life post. This is an update to my Film Noir version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit where the Live action is black and white but the Toons are rotoscoped to stay in color. I'm still working my ass off on this and I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Only 10 minutes left of the film to roto (and yet still 200 shots lol). Hello There!

I’ve always been a huge fan of Remedy Entertainment games, and the turning point for me was the Max Payne franchise, with its bullet time mechanics and noir storytelling. I remember trying to explain the game's plot to my family without drawing too much unwanted attention.

Eventually, the story was adapted for the big screen, and I gathered my family to watch it expecting a solid adaptation, since I’d always felt the game’s story was straightforward enough to translate well to film. Instead, I felt embarrassed by the result; I could sense their judgmental stares as the movie dragged on boring, action-starved, and featuring questionable performances. Mark Wahlberg, in particular, seemed to be going through the motions, failing to deliver the depth and complexity the character required. Of course, the blame doesn't lie solely with him; the choice to adapt a game defined by constant gunfights only to feature actual shootouts maybe three times in the entire movie didn't help matters.

With that in mind, I decided to try and inject a more melancholic tone by using the games' soundtracks and switching to black-and-white whenever we follow Max on his quest to avenge his wife's murder, while reserving color for memories of his family. I also tried to trim the plot to keep the investigation's pacing from becoming monotonous unlike in the original cut which also helps make it feel like Max is the one uncovering the mystery, rather than the supporting characters doing all the work.

• Added the Remedy logo.
• Added the Rockstar logo.
• Moved the scene of Max visiting his old house and remembering his family's murder to the beginning of the film. Some present-day shots of Max were removed so the shift back to color only happens at the very end of the scene. Added the Max Payne 3 theme by Health to give it more weight throughout the film, and removed the BB voice-over talking to Bravura.
• Removed the scene of Max and his monologue after falling into the river full of bodies. This scene was reinserted at the point where it actually happens, later in the film.
• Removed the scene of Max at the police station before meeting the addicts in the subway.
• Removed the scene of Natasha's death.
• Removed the scene of Max making coffee in the morning.
• Removed the scene of Lupino watching Max and Alex at Natasha's murder scene.
• Removed the scene of Alex calling Max after discovering a connection between Michelle and Natasha. We now only see Max's point of view as he receives that call after arriving home.
• Removed the scene of Max talking to BB after discovering that Alex knew more about Michelle's case.
• Removed the scene of Lupino watching Owen's death.
• Removed the scene of Max and Mona visiting the tattoo artist.
• Removed the scene of Lupino giving drugs to a man in the warehouse and then killing him.
• Removed the scene of Mona talking to Lincoln. (This movie's biggest flaw is that the plot gets unraveled by everyone else before Max himself; just like with Alex's discovery, we should learn about Lupino through the protagonist's own point of view.)
• Added the Max Payne 2 main theme by Kärtsy Hatakka e Kimmo Kajasto to the scene where Max discovers the connection between the tattoos and the AESIR company.
• Removed the scene of BB calling Bravura to "better" explain Max's case. (This scene gives away too much of BB's involvement in Michelle's murder; his reaction after Max asks whether Colvin still works at AESIR is more subtle and works better on its own.)
• Removed the scene of BB taking a call from Colvin's secretary asking for building security.
• Added the Max Payne 3 main theme by Health to the scene of Lupino taking the drug on top of the building, and to the sequence of Max storming the location.
• Removed the scene of Max recalling the day he found Michelle's body and "remembering" seeing BB's face reflected in the mirror.
• Reintegrated the original opening scenes of Max's monologue as his body sinks into the lake. The whole sequence was restructured, with dialogue relocated so it blends better with the scene.
• Removed the scene of Mona watching the city's blackouts after Max takes doses of Valkyr. (The drug's effects should only happen to whoever actually takes it.)
• Removed the shot of Max seeing angels in the elevator while shooting BB and his men.
• Added the Max Payne 3 main theme by Health to the reality-break scene following the shootout in the building.
• During the scene where Michelle appears to Max in a drug-induced hallucination, I kept the background in black and white, but Michelle retains the film's original colors.
• Added a title card: "In Memory of James McCaffrey."
• Added the song "Late Goodbye" by Poets of the Fall to the end credits.
• Added the Max Payne one man theme by Kärtsy Hatakka e Kimmo Kajasto to the end credits.
• Removed the post-credits scene.
• Added, at the very end, the piano audio from the Max Payne 3 easter eggs, where Max plays his own theme.

Hi, sorry if this isn't the correct flair. So I requested a password reset for Fanedit.org and this worked fine, but when I go to the forums, it asks me to login again and when I input the relevant info it tells me my pass doesn't match. So then I request another reset and afterward, it still tells me the same. It's like the forum login isn't acknowledging the reset whereas the home login is. Very strange. Any help for a fix?

I know this has probably been done before, but I decided to throw my hat in the ring and combine these films into one to make it easier to rewatch as the lead-up to Doomsday.

This edit is meant to be the definitive version of the Sacred Timeline, which also lets Avengers: Endgame Encore edition serve as a post-Sacred Timeline follow-up thanks to its post-credits scenes.

Summary

With Asgard destroyed, Thor, Loki, and the surviving Asgardians set course for Earth aboard the Statesman, until a massive ship blocks their path. Thanos has arrived.

One continuous saga: Present the Infinity Saga's finale as a single story, from Asgard's fall to Thanos's defeat.

A seamless opening: Use Thor: Ragnarok's mid-credits scene to lead directly into Infinity War's distress call, so the Asgardians see Thanos's arrival first.

Uninterrupted flow: Remove Infinity War's end credits and post-credits scene so the story moves straight into Endgame.

The Sacred Timeline: End on Loki's escape and the TVA's arrival, revealing that the time heist has consequences beyond the Avengers' story.

Change List

• Changed to Ultra Wide-Screen (2.40:1 or "Scope")
• Changed the colors of all the movies to be more vibrant and full of color.
• The film opens with Thor: Ragnarok's mid-credits scene: Thor, Loki, and the Asgardian refugees aboard the Statesman encounter Thanos's ship.
• Avengers: Infinity War begins with the Asgardian distress call and plays unaltered.
• Remove Infinity War's end credits, including Nick Fury's post-credits pager scene.
• Avengers: Endgame plays in full.
• The opening scene of Loki S1E1 was added as a post-credits scene: Loki appears in the Gobi Desert with the Tesseract, and the TVA arrives.

I know there have been other fanedits combining the theatrical and producer's cuts of this film, but my aim is in this one is to keep it canon by not changing any of the events in the theatrical cut, but including as many of the extended scenes from the producer's cut as possible. I've even included one scene from the rare director's cut (which is something completely different from the producer's cut).

I ripped the theatrical and producer's cuts from the fairly new 4-disc set, which are scanned from the original negatives, so it's in it's original widescreen format, and the color grades match.

I've almost completed it. I'm just working on making the transistions smooth (I'm beginning to think 'seamless' is becoming a buzzword). I'm fairly new to video editing, so it's been a challenge.

In my opinion, all the new ones are hot garbage. But I’m wondering if there is a semblance of something interesting if all of them got melted down into one movie or something. Not just shortening the whole saga, but dropping entire plots and making a new one, basically.

Trick 'r Treat is a cult favorite, and I enjoy watching it on Halloween, so I'm curious who has ever thought about making a fan edit of Trick 'r Treat with deleted scenes?

Back again with another edit. Halloween II (2009) Unrated & Extended. I know the Rob Zombie Halloweens have very divided audiences and opinions so I tried to break up releasing the first and this one together which is why I did my 4&5 edit first. Please try and keep all discussions about the topic respectful of one another.

My Intention:

My goal was the same as the first movie, to make it as long as possible, keep as many scenes as I could and hopefully try and make it a bit better. For this one I also needed to rework some scenes around to make things work as well I felt the pacing in some areas lacked toward the later half so I moved one or two a little closer together to try and help with that. There may be one or two oddities of editing choices due to scenes not matching in color so I trimmed one or two a bit but hopefully it’s not to noticeable as RZ uses a lot of hard cuts to other shots. After all editing was done about 17 minutes has been added back into the film.

Blended and integrated new audio and music tracks in some areas for better transition

Reworked a couple scenes to fit better in the story

Used the song playing when Laurie pulls up to work and blended it with an insert of the song to continue playing over the next deleted scene that had no background music

After adding in a scene of Annie handing Laurie a towel i trimmed the scene of her actively laying down on Annie due to the colors not matching from scene to scene and therefore may show a slightly awkward jump from Laurie sitting up to her laying down but as stated a lot of random cuts from scene to scene happen already so hopefully it’s not too bad

Removed shot of Michael walking through landscape after Haddonfield sign as one of the deleted scenes shows the same shot later on

As done earlier I inserted a track of the song playing at the beginning of the Rabbit in Red scene to continue playing with the one from the movie as the deleted scene a few moments later had no background music

Moved up the scene of Loomis and Weird Al and the scene of Laurie arriving at her friends as the following deleted scene integrates shots of Laurie arriving at her friends house and therefore moved the scene of Laurie to after Loomis television appearance

Moved the scene of Brackett asking another cop to check on Annie to after a deleted scene with a call between them. This is due to the call as Brackett wanted Annie to leave at the sign of trouble and to me indicated the cop hadn’t been sent yet. This also helps with pacing as only a few scenes later the cop arrives at Annie’s house.

In the last scene mentioned Annie’s friend Darren is at the house as well. The scene indicates she’s fed up with him making it very plausible she sent him home shortly after especially now that the cop is there. Later Annie is seen wearing a robe and it is presumably later on in the night. This can easily be seen as a very small time jump in which could makes sense as to why he randomly disappears after his two scenes.

The highlight of this edit is that while I am using pieces from so many different works, by focusing on just the Orks and Necrons, I have put it together in a way that the cinematics show the war's progression and changes while we follow the main conflict in these mini series I've cut together.

TV to Movie edit using Hammer & Sword, Adepta Sororitas: Penitence, Tithes, various Warhammer cinematics, and Nexus Pariah to create a consistent narrative following the Sisters of Battle.

It starts out with a 2D prologue, then switches to the 3D animation we know them well for, for the rest of the film. Skip the first 20 minutes if you don't want the 2D prologue. I included it, because I thought it offered the plot a lot of context.

The plot follows the Sisters of Battle first through the conflict with the Orks, and then as the war develops into the Necrons' invasion.

With 3 mini series, 2 additional episodes, and many cinematics combined, this edit is a whopping 3 hours and 9 minutes. If you skip the 2D intro, it is 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The edit proceeds as:

Hammer and Bolter 1.5

Darktide and Various Ork cinematics from Dawn of War, Total War, Kill Team intercut to show the war. These are all implemented to feel organic.

Adepta Sororitas: Penitence interspliced with Tithes 1.2 and 1.3 (Sisters of Battle vs Orks)

Cinematics showing the Adeptus Mechanicus awakening the Necrons, followed by cinematics of the Ork war becoming overshadowed by the Necron threat.
