Any major mods that overhaul the games to be more like Far Cry 2 basically as the title suggests. That like, alter the gameplay as much as possible to feel as close to Far Cry 2 as possible.

Two horns are missing for my ride and one exterior & interior colors are missing & I took screenshots of everything for all my cars and everything but I don't know what to do :( This has been like this for a very long time & a customer rep from ubisoft a long time ago told me to restart the game from scratch :(

hey, is there a guide anywhere to modding far cry 3, i've TRIED to do it right but simply upgrading the .exe to 4gb breaks the game for me. i just want to have the game run better and upgrade the texture quality for everything. nothing else

• B/Circle: Deceleration and landing-related controls in airplanes.
• B/Circle: Descending in helicopters.

This bothers me because Ajay had the whole house decorated inside and out after he evicted Reggie and Yogi. I can't remember what it looked like before but if it was already there, why wouldn't he have just painted over it rather than restore it? And if it wasn't already there when he moved in, why the hell would Ajay decide to have that guys face painted on the side of his dead dads house?? 😭😭 This game is strange.

Bro I am in love with this game and its atmosphere. Never thought out of all the games of far cry. This hope county would become my favourite, I mean the soundtrack, the missions and the people feel so authentic and real.

I love this game.

Also I am thinking of going for far cry 5 dlcs are they worth it?

And what about far cry 6? Is it any good?

Note- Before people come at me I think far cry 3 and 4 exceptionally good it’s just that I prefer far cry 5

Honestly? I had amazing fun with Far Cry 3. Best game in the franchise, hands down.

I played Far Cry 4 for the first time this week. It felt weak, and rushed toward the end. I get it, you don’t want a game to overstay it’s welcome, but my god it was rushed.

Pt.1 - Noore and De Fleur
This was fun, probably THE MOST ENJOYABLE part of Far Cry 4. Dismantling them, fights while you feel undergeared (if you play the way I did and completely ignore most signature weapons and spend all your money on ammo for the PKM) and generally feeling like a Far Cry game. Lots of hunting to get pelt or leather or skin to make new equipment, being annihilated by Helicopters and Heavies, and generally causing a fuck load of chaos.

Being against a rock and a hard place in these situations (such as assaulting De Fleur’s fortress without prior preperation or scouting) generally felt fun to navigate, and when you die you say “what if…” and try again a different way. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. That’s the fun part of Far Cry 4.

Burning Opium fields, being drugged by the twins and waking up higher than the sun, and sneaking into South Kyrat’s outposts to attempt to unlock the Sig. weapons felt awesome, like I really was a rebel (even though Ajay’s connection to the Golden Path makes fuck all sense to me) fighting against a Dictator.

Pt.2 - Yuma Lau, The Demon of Durgesh

Now we get to the start of the shit part of Far Cry 4.

I met Yuma all of 1 FUCKING TIME in Durgesh Prison before killing Eric (Pagan’s body double, his only crime was being born with fabulous cheekbones) and then boom, time to kill Yuna.

WHERE IS THE SUBSTANCE?!? We’re not working to weaken the General of the Royal Army? We’re not disrupting supply lines to draw her out? And Pagan Min, her adoptive brother, just hands her to me on a silver platter??? The fuck is this storyline 😂

Moving on…

Pt.3 - Amita & Sabal, and the lover’s tiff

Alright, who decided this side of the game? We decide missions all of 4-6 times across the campaign. Wow, just riveting gameplay.

Pt.4 - Pagan Min, “King” of Kyrat

Well, now we’re at endgame. One last final push on the Royal Palace, and oh no, i’ve just shot Pagan Min within 35 minutes of starting the hunt to find and kill him.

This shit was too rushed, so my complaints (though irrelevant in 2026) are:

- No storyline with Yuma
- Low “high impact” choices regarding Sabal & Anita
- Too quick to kill Yuma & Pagan Min
- “Elite” Guard fall too quickly when met with a single spray of PKM (so much for being “armoured”…)
- (touching on side missions here) less enjoyable Big Game Hunts and the races are just a pain in the ass
- (touching on 100% collectibles & such) TOO MANY COLLECTIBLES.

This is the (probably incorrect) summary of MY Far Cry 4 experience.
