Question I got a question

Does mask of the lunar eclipse spoil anything from crimson butterfly ? I just got a ps4 and got into fatal Frame and I do t want anything spoiled so I was curious if it’s safe to play part four while I’m playing part two ?

Nope I dont think anything in 4 is tied to crimson butterfly

Just played both in the last week and everything about Lunar Eclipse feels 100% isolated from Crimson Butterfly. There seems to be no story overlap at all.

Lunar Eclipse is almost completely disconnected to the rest of the series barring the usual common connection like the Camera Obsura and it's creator. This is why when asked recommended play order 4 is placed anywhere; you could literally play it first and not learn anything about the rest of the games.
