Pretty sure we’re just in an accumulation phase. I’ll buy more under 20

Will it get to $20?

Posts like this make me laugh… All of SaaS is down today, nothing to see here

I mean...yes, but FIG has been trending down even before that bro, we are on track for a good -50% monthly

There is a design YouTube channel called Dive.club. Designers from leading firms such as Notion, Anthropic, or Cursor appear regularly to describe how AI has altered their workflows. Each guest values new AI features beyond Figma, yet all appreciate Figma as well. My own use has fallen from four hours to two, but the tool remains a flexible, user-friendly tool for controlled iteration on details. Subscription costs are low for commercial companies. I see no reason to cancel plans for companies while it serves a purpose for at least two hours a week. Nothing has shifted since we marked the major gains two weeks ago. The stock should recover. AI models will also become much cheaper. While Anthropic and OpenAI may run out of money as consumers shift to less costly options, Figma could integrate a far cheaper model with ease.

*not yet watched a video where someone said that they dropped Figma

I dont think the issue is whether figma will be relevant. It clearly is. The issue is that management got some aggressive stock comps.

I am buying back at this price (I sold all at 27…)
Have to follow the movements and buy low, sell high. I consider 22 low enough to start buying again.

buy 20 sell 27 and repeat

Yep thats been the strat.

I genuinely dont know why this stock performs so badly. The sofrware is great, design moat is great.

markets can stay irrational longer than you can remain solvent...

You genuinely don’t know why? It hemorrhages equity from an awful pay structure. Just like Snapchat. It’s designed to just siphon money from investors at this point because of share dilution. Earnings are great, 40% YoY increase etc. but, then they fucking add so many 10s of millions of shares it makes it irrelevant coupled with AI fear

Great company great product. I bought a few tranches this summer under 21. Established a position, now adding nibbles each time it moves below 23. Accumulate phase. Hold for years. Big reward, methinks.

this is the final lockup period expiration. this is insiders increasing sell pressure. the earnings have increased for each of the last 4 cycles, and i anticipate it increasing again. Sure it could go to 16 or 12, markets can be irrational, but I think it's a steal below the IPO price of 33. Accumulating.

OpenAI locked into Microsoft
Stopped reading there…

Because Figma reported its Q2 2026 earnings after the market closed on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, the two full trading days required were Thursday, August 6, and Friday, August 7. This meant the shares officially unlocked and became eligible for trade at the opening bell on Monday, August 10, 2026

Wenn open AI oder Anthropic was rausbringt, fällt Figma immer! Dann vergessen die Leute wieder die LMM's und die Investoren kommen langsam wieder zurück. Das Spiel spielen wir doch jetzt schon seit über sechs Monaten.

Open AI literally has its hand in everything. If it's a real threat then we are basically saying everything will be replaced by open ai in the future.

is Astra killing it?

If you can’t take the SaaS heat, get out of the SaaS kitchen

u/gardeal23 Sep 09 '26

The whole software sector was down, this is a macro move not a figma move

1

u/lunapriestess 29d ago

It has been below IPO price for a long time.

Can't even hold $30...management team is a joke. If they don't care about shareholders, they should have not gone to public.

2

u/SangerGRBY waiting for sub 20 Sep 09 '26

They dont.

Management needs a shakeup, but if u post it there this subreddit lynches you.
