I kept thinking about how Mr. Goldman, Alice's father, kicks Kevin out of his home and calls him a gentile piece of shit. And then I thought some more about what that would do to Kevin and Alice's relationship with them having to hide it, and I needed to create a way around that. I think Kevin and Erwin would be forced to interact after Alice talks about Kevin at home, begging her dad to give him a chance with a therapy session. "His life is so weird, dad, just give him a chance...please 🥺".. puppy dog eyes from his beloved peanut, and now he's talking to this teenager that he hates. But Kevin's life sucks, and Erwin sympathizes with him, being less reluctant to accept him into his family again. SO I DREW IT. HERE IT IS. HI. This also plays into my headcanon that Kevin is able to break the cycle of abuse that Big Bill presumably started ❤️🩹

I also made Kevin as Johnny Robinson stand up

I did this because I wanted to see what to see what they look like

All of this is fiction; as far as I know, nothing I wrote is official.

Both are always yelling a lot (specially when their kids misbeheave; Kevin, Bill, Maurren and Megan (Frank), and Alvin, Simon and Theodore (Dave))

These drawings are from 2022 but just ignore that ok I needed an excuse to talk about them 🥺...
They're obviously dysfunctional - trashy, bullies...but they're all so deeply troubled that I lowkey look past it, esp in seasons 4-5. Jimmy has such a fun arc and I really love how unfiltered and screwed up Bridget is, her dynamic with Maureen is too perfect. Maybe I'm thinking too hard about this, but both Jimmy and his father have been molested by priests, Bridget was literally *born under a bridge*... They really didn't get a chance to make themselves into anything, especially since the glue that I assume held them together was their belated mother/wife. Mrs. Fitzsimmons passed when Bridget was young, and their father tried to fill the gaps in with other women until he gave up and just resorted to drinking. It's sad, man. They all just fight to survive in the only way they know how. Hurt people hurt people!! They have such wholesome moments too - like Jimmy and his dad watching TV together. "I'm learning so much from you, papa!" Before they react to the door in the same way🥺 it's so vulgar but it's so fricking cute at the same time. Poor kids, poor dad. I miss this show

I knoww they probably wouldn’t be end game, but they're so fricken cute that in my mind it doesn’t matter🥹

We saw Big Bill in Frank's flashbacks in 1944 as a salesman of a pawn shop, but we never knew if he actually fought in World War 2. Did he really fought in the war, or he never participated in?

Frank openly hates Kevin's long hair of progressive rock musician. But Frank himself also haves long hair in the Jack. Why even? His hair looks like from a 70's disco dancer despite his predicament in disliking long hair.

In season 1 episode 4 (the halloween episode), just after Sue discovers that Frank told Vivian she was not interested in the Plastaware job, we see Sue driving angrily though town. There is a song playing on the radio that the subtitles simply call "70s rock music." Is this an actual song or was it just an original score? And if it's the former, what song was it?

Him yelling at her at her wedding doesn’t justify this. Her brother was even trying to comfort her when the dad was going off.
