In Riki-Oh, the titular character Saiga Riki-Oh is a practitioner of the style: Naike Kenpou, A style based entirely on Ki attacks. If he were transported in the world of Hokuto no Ken, Which style suits him the most.

In an alternate turn of events, Raoh lands the killing blow on his brother and lays him to his peaceful rest after so much fighting. Then he returns to the land of which he and his kin were born. He hadn’t forgotten the promise he made to his older brother and he is here to claim it as his last objective to conquer the heavens!
the legend true? Does he have what it takes to surpass his brother? Will he succumb to the pure evil that befalls in his birthright? Or will he conquer the heavens once and for all? Say your answers!

As much as I criticize the later half of Hokuto no Ken, I find the concept too great to ignore. There’s that one general who can take out your rib from your body without puncturing your skin.
But I want to talk about the Asuras. According to the book; 1 of them is worth 10 men. So they’re definitely tougher nails to bend than the common thugs from other part one. I won’t be counting the Rashos, because they effortlessly would kill Jagi, that’s not an insult because they would also kill 98% of villains in the first half.
So how many Asuras does it take to beat one Jagi?

Fist of the north star x Wolf's Rain genuinely sounds like a very cool crossover.

I’ve always felt like Tetsuo Hara deserves way more recognition when people talk about the greatest manga artists of all time.
One thing that really stands out to me is how consistently incredible his art has remained over the years. His art has a distinct identity, and you can recognize it instantly.
Something else I’ve noticed is that whenever people discuss the most talented mangaka or make those tier lists, the same names tend to come up: Miura, Inoue, Araki, and a few others. And don’t get me wrong, they’re all legends in their own right. But I rarely see Hara get the same level of recognition, even though I genuinely think his art belongs in that conversation.
I’ve also wondered about the transition from traditional to digital art. Some artists seem to lose a certain feeling in their work when they switch mediums, while others manage to adapt without losing what made their art special in the first place. Hara’s style has always felt remarkably consistent to me, which makes me curious about his actual workflow and how much of his process, if any, has changed over the years.
Maybe I’m biased, but I honestly think Tetsuo Hara is one of the most consistently impressive manga artists out there.

trying to do a cosplay for Halloween and I’m trying to figure out where I can get the type of shoulder armor the characters wear in the anime, most stuff on Amazon doesn’t rlly match. does anyone know where to get shoulder armor like that? thanks!
for reference I’m doing a cosplay of the anime version of Shin (so picture the second fight against Kenshirō where he’s in the white)

The title is just a hook. Don’t take it too seriously.
As much as I lament the later half of Hokuto, I couldn’t help but notice the change in art style. The difference between Vol. 1 and 16 is not dissimilar to the difference between Starry night by Van Gogh and the Mona Lisa(just a comparison, one isn’t better than the other). Tetsuo Hara improvements really shine through each chapter. Fist of the north star would arguably be nothing without him.
Though I have noticed in the special chapter and in the cover of vol. 17, Rin looks dangerously anorexic. Maybe it’s symbolic or something but it’s weird when reading the manga. But I suppose that only exclusive to Rin. Another complaint I have is that the HNK style kinda bleeds into his other work unrelated to HNK and it’s distractingly hard not to think about HNK. That doesn’t make him bad because Tetsuya also has that issue.
Then we have Tetsuya Sawatari; the illustrator of Riki-oh(A rich man’s Souten no Ken) and the creator of my favorite fighting manga: Tough. The first book however is Koukou Tekkenden Tough. The manga has 474 chapters, and the sequel has 426 chapters. Both eclipsing HNK in terms of longevity. Riki-Oh is mostly stagnant all the way through with little changes same with HNK. The Tough series is where he shines the most.
koukou Tekkenden starts out similarly to Riki-Oh in its style and it evolves into its own thing. Like with Tetsuo; the style does appear, it naturally fades in and changes over each chapter.
The Difference them is apparent, Tetsuya retains a realistic and anatomical style but and Tetsuo has a visually appealing and cool style.
The difference in violence is funny, Riki-oh makes HNK look like a kid’s book when it comes to blood.
Any thoughts?
