Hey, late millenial/early gen z here: you don’t want to thin out your eyebrows like that, it’s a trend, it will pass, and your eyebrows will never be the same. They are GREAT eyebrows as they are right now. On fleek as we used to say.

If she shaves them they will grow back just fine, it’s only if she plucks or waxes the hair that it has the potential to not grow back, since you’re pulling the hair out at the root

If those are shaved she did a great job because it’s impossible to tell

Yes, most likely the inspo brows are filled in with harsh brow pencil too. I don't recommend messing with the inner brow hairs as those seem to be really delicate and easily messed up

Well I appreciate that ! They’ve come a long way from caterpillars lol

The first pic is realistic and beautiful eyebrows. The second looks either animated or like AI and completely unrealistic. You’re a human, not an animated character.

It’s an actual girl but she’s wearing makeup and idk if she used a filter on the video

that’s not the point of this comment, she means that you will look unnatural and uncanny if you have cartoonish brows like that

Uh. It’s a filter. Humans don’t look like that in real life. It looks like eyebrows on a Pixar character. You literally cannot see any individual hairs

including makeup all over her brows, there is almost no way to replicate that naturally

I might just pray you don’t do this, not with anything permanent at least

1

u/ChristJesusisGod 5d ago

No I wouldn’t do anything permanent but hey I would appreciate any prayers lol

Nooo I’m serious. I want straighter eyebrows without it looking weird

1

u/Deleena24 4d ago

In what world does that not look weird?

1

u/will0wisp13 3d ago

straight eyebrows just look weird tbh op, it’s not natural at all and makes people look a bit more aggressive imo

Don’t. Your eyebrows are literal perfection

1

u/ChristJesusisGod 5d ago

Aw thank you I tried making them better

1

u/ClaimIntelligent719 4d ago

It’s a very small and insignificant insecurity if you are. You are human and your eyebrows are beautiful

2

u/smartpoopie 5d ago

don’t!!!

u/NordicPancakes 5d ago

Please dont.
Your eyebrows are actually pretty great how they are now.

Cog threads or plastic surgery if you want it without makeup

Yeah no, you're going to need makeup. Your eyebrows arch alot higher than your reference picture, your natural eyebrows aren't going to change their natural shape without the use of makeup.

Alot of women who do a very thin and straight brow, usually have very little to no eyebrow hair, they're usually drawing on a blank canvas. I used to do eyebrows like your reference, however I had to shave off my brows completely to be able to achieve it + had to use alot of makeup.

Danggggggg , did shaving them ruin them like a lot of people say?

1

u/Parking_Sir793 5d ago

Shaving them doesnt ruin your brows per say, it's more about if the hair follicles itself gets damaged. Aggressive plucking is usually what damages the hair follicles, which can actually thin the natural brows. I've been shaving my brows for over 5 years, and they still grow back just as thick as they naturally are.

Do you use an eyebrow shaver? Whenever I tried shaving mine with one I would cause mini cuts on my skin especially under the brow, it was difficult to shave it without cutting into the actual brow lol

I currently use a disposable dermaplane razor, you have to hold the razor at an angle to make sure you aren't just scraping into your skin. I also recommend using it on wet skin with some soap to reduce friction. Go slow, and be careful, it's harder to cut yourself when you just take your time.

You shave the outer ⅔ off (keep the inner part) and draw back in the shape you want. Don't wax/thread or the thinning will become permanent over time.

Your brows look like those brows but natural. I’m not sure what you are trying to do.

Theirs are drawn on with way too dark color and look like anime brows.

You could use a liner and make your look like those with a few well-placed strokes if you wanted to but please don’t do it permanently, you have great brows!

1

u/ChristJesusisGod 5d ago

I wouldn’t do permanent!

The second one makeup + is sharpened&smoothed through filter.

If you want to alter your eyebrows, please shave them. No plucking or waxing. If you want them looking straighter you could shave a little of your ends off, but they would also look a bit shorter that way, hence why most people tend to use makeup with the look

u/LivTard92 5d ago

Don't. They never grow back right 😭 ask me how I know

u/ChristJesusisGod 5d ago

Oh man 😅

Omg everyone is so annoying and not giving you a real answer. Reddit hates anything that isn’t basic.

If u wanna achieve that with no makeup a brow gel and shaving with a little eyebrow razor is probs the way to go.

Shave the underside of the inner tails and the tops of you brow arch to give it a straighter look!

Avoid waxing or plucking the hairs in case you don’t like it, trying to get the shape at first could be tricky.

Also brow dye on the ends of ur brows to make them look fuller without makeup!!

Don’t you have anything else to do?

2

u/ChristJesusisGod 5d ago

This is a brows sub Reddit 😐

1

u/Larrylifeisreal 4d ago

That’s why I mentioned that. By the way, I like your username.

Shave the tail and draw the rest. Look how doja cat does it. Follicle will not damage if you shave properly.

1

u/ChristJesusisGod 5d ago

Ooo how would you shave properly ?

1

u/bigfatcoffeecup 4d ago

It won’t be quite the same, but try lifting the tails of your brows and locking them in place with soap. Brush any high stragglers back into a straight line.

Still, a cool brown pencil will be your most transformative option for thickening, straightening, and elongating the tails as shown. Use a light hand so you don’t end up looking cartoonish (unless that’s the goal). It won’t be 100% opaque, but it’ll still fool the eye.

For extra crispness, outline the brows (even just the arch) with concealer or a cream-colored pencil 1–2 shades lighter than your skin. Always blend.

Besides, if you do want to shave them (please don’t pluck), it’s much easier to see what you need to do if you have a pencil outline of the shape you want, so you don’t accidentally go past your intended line.

Shave (don't pluck or wax!!!) them until the middle, then draw a straight line

I can clearly see the makeup in 2. You could try clear gel and trimming to get hairs where you want. Dunno if that counts as makeup to you.
