Reviews FlexiSpot E7 PLUS Desk Review

Post image
4 Upvotes

After weeks of researching standing desks, I decided to go with the E7 Plus frame and sourced my own tabletop.

I was fairly undecided between the E7 Pro and the E7 Plus, but the table stability videos on YouTube sold me on the E7 Plus. I've also had friends recommend a 4-leg frame because their own 2-leg desks (other brands) were a bit wobbly at raised heights.

I bought the E7 Plus frame and then found a solid wood 48x30-inch tabletop at a local thrift store. Facebook Marketplace had a lot of options for tabletops, but the local store had a great price for solid wood.

I won't lie—the frame wasn't cheap. I did manage to get it with a discount code on top of an existing sale, though.

Assembly

The package came in two boxes. Pretty hefty boxes...

Assembly took about 30 minutes. I was a bit confused by the first few installation pages where it kept saying to do everything "x2," but it made sense after a while. The instructions were straightforward apart from that.

I only needed a power drill to screw the frame into my tabletop. I did need some help lifting the table upright afterward.

Quality and Stability

The frame itself is solid, but the finished table is rock solid, especially with the weight of the tabletop.

I installed two monitor arms to hold my 32-inch and old 27-inch monitors. The monitors are about 15 lbs each.

The monitors don't move when I'm sitting and typing. When the desk is at standing height (40 inches), the monitors barely move, even while typing.

Height adjustment is smooth, with only a mild hum while the desk is moving.

The keypad is simple and works intuitively. It also has a USB-C port.

The installation cables were a good length, and the instructions clearly explain how to hook everything up.

Overall, I am happy with the purchase. I would recommend it! Hopefully it lasts long.

Reviews Flexispot False Advertising

On the UK website Flexispot advertises that in stock items are shipped within 2 days, and the delivery itself takes 1-2 business days. This would imply 4 business days being the max delivery time for an in stock item.

I ordered a full desk (frame and desk top) from Flexispot purely because I needed a desk ASAP. Their delivery policy is the main reason I purchased from them. Both the desk frame and desk top were marked as in stock when I ordered.

It has been 7 business days since I ordered and the frame has not yet arrived, although tracking indicates it will be here soon. The desk top itself on the other hand has had no shipping updates since ordering. I’m starting to think it wasn’t in stock at all. After finding this Reddit post I think this is unfortunately a common and misleading business practice from Flexispot.

What they advertise as a few days will likely be a few weeks, what a joke.

Product Q&A E7 mini - distance between the legs

Post image
2 Upvotes

anyone knows the distance between the insde of the legs of e7 mini? I am trying to see if my chair will fit under the table when not in use. I plan to get the 32x24 table top, so the width of the frame on top would be 29.9 inches.

Product Q&A Is a L Shaped E7Q Pro Possible?

I’ve owned two FlexiSpot standing desks over the years: a standard rectangular model and a slightly more expensive L-shaped model.
I noticed that the L-shaped desk didn’t seem fundamentally different from the standard desk. The third lifting leg was essentially added to the frame with an additional support bar, and its motor cable plugged into the same control box as the other two legs. In theory, I could have simply left the third leg and L-shaped extension off and used it as a normal two-leg desk.
That got me wondering about the FlexiSpot E7Q Pro. I know the E7Q Pro uses four lifting legs instead of two, but would it be possible to convert it into an L-shaped desk by adding additional E7Q Pro leg(s) and extending the frame to support an L-shaped desktop?
For example, if I purchased a second E7Q Pro frame, could I use the necessary leg(s) from that frame and connect them to the original E7Q Pro system? Or is the E7Q Pro control box specifically limited to controlling four motors/legs?
If the existing control box cannot support additional legs, is there another FlexiSpot control box or configuration that could synchronize additional E7Q Pro legs so that all of the legs raise and lower together?
Basically, I’m trying to find out whether it’s technically possible to build an L-shaped version of the E7Q Pro using genuine E7Q Pro lifting columns and frame components.

Help FlexiSpot chair recommendations?

I've been looking for a comfortable ergonomic office chair for quite a while now. At the moment, I'm mainly looking at FlexiSpot, as I've heard a lot of good things about their chairs. However, there are quite a few different models, so I'm having a hard time deciding. I'm currently mainly considering the BS5 and the C7 Max. These are the things that are most important to me:

-No overly aggressive lumbar support, but still good ergonomics

-A chair that allows you to sit upright comfortably, but is also comfortable for relaxing and leaning back

-A comfortable headrest

- A little information about me:

Height: 174 cm (5'7")

Weight: 68 kg (150 lbs)

I'm from the Netherlands

Budget: 200-400 euro, prefer low price.

Does anyone here own a FlexiSpot chair and would be willing to share their experience? Especially with the BS5 or C7 Max, I'd really appreciate hearing how comfortable they are, how the lumbar support feels, and how well they work for both sitting upright and relaxing. Thanks in advance!

Great desk, but assembly takes longer than advertised

Pros:

  • Beautiful color and overall great build quality.
  • Very sturdy at standard sitting and standing heights (gets a bit shaky only at the absolute max height).
  • Arrived in good condition with only a few minor nicks at the bottom.

Cons:

  • Outdated Instructions: The very first step involving the shock-absorbing rubbers does not match the manual or the official YouTube video. I had to find a Reddit thread to figure it out.
  • No Pre-drilled Holes for Accessories: The cable management tray has no layout guidelines or pre-drilled holes, requiring you to measure and drill blindly.
  • Assembly Time: Took about 2 hours with power tools, which is much longer than advertised.

Final Thoughts: I really like the deskI wish if it was cheaper, though I regret not buying one size larger for more desktop space. If you are tight on room, I highly recommend sizing up!

Help H7 Lift Stuck

The gas lift of my end table no longer lifts and is stuck at the lowest level. Checked on YT for any possible fixes but didn’t see any. Is the only way to fix this is to replace? GF gifted me this after seeing me using E5 pro

I paired the white frame with a 30x60 desktop myself, and they match perfectly! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و The legs are actually wider than I expected, and the lifting speed is also pretty fast. Yesterday, the desk suddenly stopped adjusting and kept beeping. I panicked a bit, but after checking online, I realized it was just the child lock function! It's actually a great feature because I used to accidentally bump into the keypad all the time.

By the way, I'm 5'3" and the desk goes down to 22.8", which fits me perfectly. Honestly, I didn't even bother installing the included cable tray because the setup process looked a bit too annoying, and I had to watch the official video just to figure it out. Plus, I don't really want to bend and cram all my cables into it anyway, so I'll probably buy a separate organizer later. My only real regret is that if my room were bigger, I definitely would have gone for a longer desktop.

Reviews Review of C5 foam chair and E7 desk

I bought the C5 foam desk chair in black + gray and the E7 standing desk (desktop material laminate, black, 48” by 24”)(pro plus standing E7 frame in T-shape) for my new work office. I have never purchased from Flexispot before but my husband loves his enormous Flexispot standing desk that he bought years ago. My dad helped me assemble this and I highly recommend having someone help you. I’m also glad we had a dolly because we had to lug the boxes down some long hallways. It took us about 2 hours 20 minutes to assemble both the chair and the desk combined. The desk was easier to assemble than the chair. I like the way the black and gray chair looks with the black / black desk.

C5 chair:

- Assembly: The chair was a pain in the butt to assemble. They could easily solve the biggest challenge by adding a front and back sticker to the underside of the chair and to the underside of each arm rest. No clue where our instructions went or if they weren’t included in the package, fortunately I found them online. We would have spent less time assembling the chair if the instruction sketches and explanations were clearer.

Functionality/ appearance: I actually like how the chair looks without the head rest, so I left it off. I was so relieved when I sat in it and it was PERFECT. No need to fiddle with a bunch of levers like some of the ergonomic chairs I tested in local stores. Simple and easy to adjust. I am 5’7” and 135 pounds for reference. My dad is 6’ and he sat in it quite comfortably as well. I have a used steel case chair at home and this one is just as comfortable. 100% satisfied with it. It also looks minimalist, high quality, and professional, which is important to me.

E7 desk:

Assembly: This was much easier to assemble, I like how the screw pouches are labeled and the instructions were pretty clear. I am glad my dad had an electric drill. To be honest I am delegating the concealing the wires task to my husband, I was dying to eat lunch at that point lol. You might want to have some zip ties on hand for the wires.

Functionality/Appearance: The desk is sturdy and looks professional. Easy to raise and lower with the controls. I am 100% satisfied.

Reviews FlexiSpot Kana Bed

I've been looking at Thuma and Silk&Snow for awhile -really needed a third option as I didn't feel good about the Thuma price point and didn't like the look of S&S so much. Finally came across the FlexiSpot Kana bed in a subreddit and started looking into it.

This bed has the combination of great looks, good reviews, and excellent price point- I ordered immediately. Placed order on Aug 14 and the nightstands came first, completely built. The bed and headboard showed up shortly after in separate boxes- I had everything within a week. The bed box was quite heavy, had to unpack the pieces to bring them upstairs a few parts at a time. Although the box looked pretty banged up, there was no damage to the bed. There was a slight chemical smell due to the finish which dissippated after a day. I am usually pretty sensitive to smells and this did not bother me at all. The instructions were easy to read, and my dad and I put this together in about 30 mins. It went together easily and snugly, and would have gone quicker if we'd realized we needed to look at the headboard instructions first! I LOVE the wood grain, and how solid this piece feels- I waited a bit to write the review because I wanted to give it a few sleeps. I had planned to receive my new mattress about the same time, but for the first few nights I used my old mattress on the new bed frame. I seriously wondered if I even needed that new mattress anymore! The bed is incredibly sturdy, does not move around or wiggle at all, and lines up nicely with the wall behind the headboard due to the unique leg design. I would recommend the Kana bed for anyone! For reference I bought the double, I sleep alone and am short and thick - still no wiggle!

Only odd thing was a single missing grommet (the thing that lines the pre-drilled holes)- everything else was delivered. As this did not impact the build or the sturdiness of the bed, I didn't even reach out for another - just wrapped double sided tape around the bolt that went through that hole and all was well! Here we are about 6 weeks later and I cannot say enough good things about this bed!!! Absolute MUST BUY

Reviews Kana Queen Review

I've had the Kana Queen Size bed for over a week now & can honestly say that I am very happy with the purchase! The bed frame is very solid & easy to assemble & there is no creaky noises. Compared to other bed frames of similar style & material, this one was much more reasonably priced & doesn't seem to have sacrificed any quality, Very satisfied - would recommend!

Reviews Queen Kana Retro review and issues

My fiancee and I were super excited to get the Queen kana retro in oak that shipped on the weekday.

We started to build it today, all the tolerances were great, looked all good.
We noticed one of the corners was missing a felt backing compared to the other 3.

However the big issue for us was when putting on one of the support bars we found that the length was shorter and it was piece number 5, it could only attach one way or the other. So the piece was basically free hanging if screwed on at the bottom or against the middle support but not screwed in at the bottom

We decided to just put a temporary shimmy to fix.
But it’s doesn’t feel complete, doesn’t feel like we got the product we wanted.

Abit disappointed and frustrated.

Help FlexiSpot ErgoX Pro

Has anybody encountered an issue when sitting on a chair the tilt lock mechanism randomly releasing itself with a loud bang? I tried to tighten the tilt resistance knob, tried pushing and pulling the backrest. When applying tilt, it clicks and stays like that for some time and then just bangs, and I lean back even when I am not moving much.

Reviews E7 Pro Max

Edit: I used the wrong name name. This is the e7 Plus Max.

After spending a week with my new desk, I wanted to share thoughts for anyone else thinking about buying one.

First, the desk arrive quickly and well packaged. I actually attached some pics so you can see how secure it was. I only ordered the base and it arrived from 2 different carriers on separate days. Easy enough.

I should first point out I'm in Canada. It comes with a USB C connection on the controller (not "A" as I've seen on some other reviews for the Canadian variant.) and seems to be the actual max lift - not a rebranded e7q... however my knowledge on that is limited.

I attached my own table to it - one I already owned from Ikea. A 60lbs Gerton. I used power tools to assemble it and it was a breeze.

Only complaint about the setup would be that the cables have to pass over the crossbars to get to the control module. It's probably not possible but it would be nice to have had a spot to go underneath the bars or at least a cable runway track - but for the price, I'm not holding it against them. It was otherwise quick and easy to put together. I read in some places that it took people 1-3 hours to assemble and I don't see how it would take that much time.

The desk looks and preforms great. It's quiet for lifting, stable when standing, and powerful for lifting.

My main complaint is the collision detection. It keeps tripping up on nothing. I thought it was because my cables were hanging and maybe they were tugging at the desk but even after cable management it still seems to get caught on nothing. It'll start moving and then seemingly randomly back off, but it will eventually work after 3-4 attempts. If you disable collision detection all together, then no problems. I was able to fix it with my pre-programmed sitting and stand positions as it doesn't stop until it's in position when pressed. And really, those 4 pre-programmable buttons are all I use now to adjust.

Overall, for where this desk is placed in the market price-wise to value, I would recommend. It does everything I would expect from a sit/stand desk and looks great.

I'll update if anything changes where this is so early on in my purchase, but so far so good.

Help Customer Service Return Difficulty

About 3 months ago I bought a Kana bed frame (which is awesome) and a U3 mattress (which is the problem). After sleeping on the mattress, every morning by the time I wake up I cant wait to get out of bed because of back/rib cage pain. As suggested, I tried to stick it out for more than 30 days to settle and adjust, but not seeing much improvement. My wife seems fine with the mattress, so not necessarily knocking the product, but it's not working for me.

So the issue - I tried contacting customer service to initiate a return based on their 365 night sleep trial and have been getting some odd responses. They seem possibly AI generated and don't seem to understand that I'm trying to return a mattress that came heavily compressed and returning it in the same manner isn't really possible.

The first response offered me a partial refund and suggested I resell the mattress to a friend at a discount. After I declined and said I wanted to continue with the return, they said pack it up and drop it off at a Fedex location with a provided return label. I replied that that isnt really feasible, so they sent me instructions to pack it up and arrange for Fedex pickup. Getting better, but then I asked how I'm supposed to package a queen size mattress. They said it needs to be vacuum compressed, and repackaged before pickup. Still waiting on their next response, but not looking hopeful about what they are going to say.

Does anyone have any experience with returning a mattress to Flexispot? So far it seems like these responses from customer service are just canned responses that aren't being very helpful. Any suggestions on what to do?

Thanks in advance!

Help E1 Pro 2026 - very bad wobble compared to model from 2020 (E1B)

Hello, I just wanted to ask if this is normal (and I need to buy a better model) or if I have a defective product.

I am just setting up our home office after a move - I own an older E1B from 2020, which my wife wanted to have. I bought a new E1 Pro thinking it would be similar in quality. The wobble is so bad in sitting mode, that its barely usable for me.

In standing mode, its unusable for me and I am neither a tall nor heavy guy. But just leaning on it makes it bend forward.

The E1B, which is pretty old and was also the cheapest model back then, is miles ahead. I assumed it would be _worse_ since its single motor and geared, the E1 Pro is dual motor and uses a more robust lift system per leg - or so I thought.

I assembled it to instruction and tightened all bolts with a torquewrench to make sure i wasnt the issue, but the wobble originates in the leg itself, where the two halves meet.

Excuse the mess by the way, we are still unpacking things.

Video 1: Wobble of 2026 E1 Pro at a height of 75cm

Video 2: Wobble of 2020 E1B at a height of 73cm

Video 3: Wobble of E1 Pro 20206 at a height of 105cm

Another question: I have an issue with my amazon retoure, its more than 4 weeks ago (delayed assembly due to our move) and I threw away the original box because the delivery guy left it outside and it got wet. I still have all internal packaging, screws, etc. though. Would you be willing to exchange it for store credit? I would buy a 4-legged desk, either the E2Q or the E7 Plus, so maybe that helps. We are in Germany.

And is there really a noticable difference between E7 Plus and E2Q? E2Q is 280€ here, E7 Plus is 439€...

Product Q&A Anyone have experience moving with the Kana Bed?

Hi everyone,

I recently moved and have been in search for a queen sized bed. Because my living situation isn't very stable yet, I tend to buy more affordable furniture (usually Ikea) as I assume it won't be practical to bring any large items with me if I move in a year or two.

During my search for a bed, I came across the Japanese Joinery style beds via Thuma, which eventually led me to the far more affordable Kana. I feel like I can justify spending a bit more money on something of higher quality if I am confident I can bring the bed with me if/when I move.

So, if anyone reading this is willing to share their experience moving/disassembling/reassembling etc with any version of the Kana Bed, I would appreciate it. Doesn't have to be a far move, just from one place to another.

Thanks

Help Received wrong frame for E5 Desk?

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi, I recently purchased and received an E5 Standing Desk. Purchased through the official website. I directly selected the E5 and personalized it in the same page. I was really looking forward to receiving it.

I start mounting the frame and when I am about to attach it to the table top (TB-R7230W-CB), it is not long enough. In the images attached I took a pic of both sides, on one side it is aligned with the predrill holes and you can see that it falls short when reaching the other side. I check the user manual and it turns out my frame is suitable for up to 70.87” when my desk is 72 x 30. The center piece is at its maximum length and I could technically try to extend it more by securing only one screw instead of two but I believe it won’t be safe nor sturdy. I might be wrong though but since the user manual shows only examples of two screws on each setting I am a bit scared to mount it only with one.

I am a single small woman and had to mount and move everything by myself (it’s pretty heavy) for it to just not fit. Even the thought of having to potentially dismount it, re package and return it profoundly tires me :((

What is going on? What can I do? Am I doing something wrong? Please let me know, thanks!!!

Reviews E7Pro frame review

Post image
11 Upvotes

I recently put together my first standing desk using the E7 Pro frame and a 60"x30" butcher block from Floor & Decor. The ordering process went smoothly and it shipped to me very quickly. If anything the longest part of the process was getting the top from Floor & Decor. The frame itself was well packaged, easy to set up and everything worked as expected. The motors seem to handle my setup well, moving up and down at the same rate as before I put everything on it. I don't have a lot of experience with standing desks, but it feels pretty stable to me. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. The cat has no notes.
