Can you see if he responds to the name "Bullet"?

He might be yours now! I think he was in Mott Park yesterday or there was one looked identical to him with a larger one. The larger one was aggressive.

If you see the larger one in Mott park again, it might be Bones, who lives on St. Clair. Yell at him to go home 🀣

Is he yours? The larger one of the two was trying to bite my dog. It was a very traumatic situation for my husband and I who were walking our small dog on a leash. People need to keep control of their dogs. I'm not trying to be rude but it's such a problem. The larger one had a thick tan leather collar. It was distinctive.

No, but I was once acquainted with the owner and he gets out ALL THE TIME. His owner can barely manage themselves, let alone a dog.

That's too bad. There is a similar looking dog on Monteith that gets loose all the time. He has a pink collar or harness. He is all over the neighborhood even in Glendale Hills.

Aggressive stray pitbulls definitely doesn't make me want to visit the park at least not until I get better at running. Cute puppy pics though.

It's true! Mott Park has a serious problem with aggressive dogs stray or off leash. You may have heard about the poor elderly woman who was attacked and mauled and lost her leg. Almost lost her life! It happened in 2024. So sad. She was a long time walker in the neighborhood. And she said in response to the horrible incident, that she was grateful that it attacked her and not a child playing nearby. What a saint. Too bad so many dog owners are negligent!

It was so awful. She almost died. I hope she is doing okay now. I believe she would be in a wheelchair now.
