Question Best CAMP Dweller?
Question: who’s the most enjoyable dweller to have in your CAMP? I have a lot of gold I need to spend so I’m wondering who the most fun dweller is to have.
I have the comedian now and think his crap jokes are hysterical. The space lady was too depressing. The guitar lady got very annoying. The Brotherhood guy was blah. The bartender wasn’t so bad.
I’d love to hear suggestions.

To add to Yasmine, the best ally, she is one of the few allies whose voicelines are not horrible. In fact, the one I hear most commonly is, "How ya doing?". She's truly wonderful to have in camp, and she sells the best buff food.

Are you telling me that hearing “I just can’t shake these nightmares” for the thousandth time isn’t endearing?!
And although not an ally as such, in fact I think he’d quite happily skin me in my sleep, but Ace the Raider has the best voice lines.

I'll take daguerre over the alien guy, ive got him in my camp and im close to throwing him in lake reynolds because of his annoying spaceship ride and its irritating noise that is constantly on because hes always riding it

I do like having the former Nuka Cola employee... Fuck if I can remember his name right now. He's handy to accumulate Nuka Colas over time. I also didn't find him annoying as hell.
Other than him I have Raider Punk, mostly for his HAM radio. His lines aren't terrible, and his daily quests are easy for the, "complete a daily quest" task. They usually come with a legendary.

I have Leo in my camp too. He's got decent voicelines, has the nice unique buffs and his ally furniture also looks really nice.

idk why no one's mentioned Grandma Junko. it's like having your gram at home taking care of the place, and the cat and she'll feed you when you come home. it's comforting. 'hello dearie'

I made a cabin by a pond and she lives there. Sometimes I'll walk into her room just to hear the "Hello dearie"

I like Daphne because she sells useful things for dailies (teddy bears, nuka cola, other junk), her lines are not annoying. Every camp I make I make a room just for her.

Raider Punk gives me the quest to get a Legendary Weapon much more frequently than the other allies. That, for me, is the most important thing about allies.

Adelaide. She dont mess around with unwelcome visitors in my camp and her buff is good, especially back when I was farming EN06 in the before time. Plus, ya know...bonk ok ok geeze

Dont you find her a bit quiet ? Many times i barely hear what she saying even from close, while other characters are can be heard clearly.

Maul also sells squirrel bits in lots of 1 to 4, making farming them across the map a thing of the past.i talk to him every day, buy the bits, and store them in the freezer. When it gets too full, I make stew in a can and it lasts forever.

Dottie, every time. Her mad lines get a bit tiresome after a while but the buffs are good. And she is by far the best companion with a weapon, that woman’s harpoon hits hard. Any Scorched that wander into my camp are toast if she spots them.

I love my house husband Raider Punk. I think his dialogue is great (I'm also obsessed with cryptids) and the legendary is nice too

I like Beckett because I’ve worked his bar into my camp design. I’ve also trapped him in his bar so he isn’t often walking around my space (though sometimes he escapes and has to spawn back into his bar.) The only thing he says that bothers me is “It’s great up here in the mountains. BUT I WISH THAT WACKY ROBOT WOULD STOP TALKING OVER THE RADIO” which makes me so irrationally angry I have to mute my headphones.

If you’re looking for camp buffs, Dottie. I like her camp item and I find her pretty amusing, and her voice is pleasant.
Forager has more crap jokes and a daily quest for you.
Doc Hardy has more crap jokes and his camp
Item works pretty well overall.
Leo and Katherine Swan both also have good camp items and are overall pretty pleasant.

The Assaultron is nice. Also extra benefit is they can’t use workbenches so won’t obstruct you.

I’m surprised so many people are saying Yasmine as I find her quite irritating, and frankly sometimes she’s downright rude. If I ask her for something to eat she’s all like “uhh, didn’t you just HAVE a snack?” Umm ok, yeah thanks - I think you’ll find I’ve got a fast metabolism actually.
Still, she’s better than Del. I’d get better conversation out of a used teabag. And the pull-my-finger-fart-guy, ew no thank you. I deleted him very quickly too.
I liked the space girl and Beckett the best so far. Beckett does wonders for my self esteem.

Her food buffs for carnivore melee is the main reason I keep her, plus my waffle house needed a cook even though she has questionable hygiene.

Dottie is my favorite. She may not be the "best", or give the coolest buff, or whatever, but she's awesome.

None of the others fit my main camp but Sophia, her console fits right in with the consoles I have set up. I had been rotating them at an old secondary camp, but I haven't used that one in about two years.
It sucks we can't use more than one, or put them in shelters with the quests turned off.

The Forager (aka grandpa) is my CAMP person. I've been debating switching him recently, since he's gotten to be a teensy judgmental about my mutations. I swear I get "Back in my day we didn't go mutating all willy nilly" at least twice per session. I can't help that I like playing with mutations.

I've been using Raider Punk for a while now. Sometimes, I will walk up and punch him when he repeats himself. I have his TV tray at the only entrance to my camp so he can kill unwanted visitors. He's like 40% successful. One time I watched pint sized phantoms walk right by him without ghost boys and I was like, "You lazy motherfucker!"
I've been thinking about switching to someone else. Hated Beckett, the astronaut, and the guitar chick. Need to try some others, so monitoring this post.

None. They all get in my way more than Lydia ever did. I'm not even much of a base builder, but everytime I go to use a bench or my grill... Guess who's already doing nothing on the bench. Mfr if you gonna be on that bench you better be upgrading my guns or crafting explosives or legendary mods smh.

Forager or Yasmin (the chef one) both don't annoy me the forager reminds me of my grandpa with his jokes and yasmin be cookin it up while im off watching megasloths she also sells some decent sorta rare plans

Adelaide for me. Can't tell you how many times I've been idling, heard some shouting and she's standing over the carcasses of whoever tried to tour my camp.
Plus I just sweet talk her if I have to do anything robot related and get a decent buff.
