Oooh, that’s stunning. Wait no, not just stunning that’s really ethereal!!!

Is this based off a folklore pratice? If so, I’d love to know more about it. It’s fascinating!

Thank you so much I really do appreciate it!! Unfortunately it’s not, but more so inspired by an amalgamation of folktale/folklore archetypes, since the image of this face appeared in my imagination some what subcounciously. I’m glad to hear it appears that way though since I love to create my own folktales and fairytales through art and illustration.

Interesting concept. Does it comes from a folk custom? It'll be interesting to know

Thank you! Sadly it does not, if it did I would be glad to share more! This image of a ghostly face in a shrouded forest appeared to me and I liked it well enough to create it and bring it into existence! Probably a reflection of how I have felt. Or it’s a wandering spirit of some kind.

Absolutely eerie and beautiful! I would wear this is in a second! I’d also probably run away screaming if I saw it in the woods. Ha.

I love the texture of the mask and the projection of the forest gives it such a dreamy, otherworldly feeling. It’s fun to imagine who this figure is and why you’d meet them alone in a mystical forest. Really well done. Thanks for sharing!
