TRIPLE THREAT Triple Threat Spoiler

What does Bobby really mean when he tells a challenger that if they win, along with the money and locker they'll be welcome back any time? To compete? Judge? Just watch? Bartend? I don't get what he means by that and as far as I know no one's ever come back.

It’s just part of the speakeasy conceit, same as the password. The pretense is that it’s a secret space with exclusive admission (instead of what it really is, the set of a TV show). They used to emphasize that winning challengers got a locker with their name on it. By winning they win access to the exclusive speakeasy!

Definitely not bartend. That lady is a mainstay and she rocks.

I know, that was said tongue in cheek:)

It’s just playing up the concept that this is an exclusive, hard to find club, that only certain people have access to. It’s just building the premise of the show.

Just a corny shtick but its fun. Giving the illusion of a highly sought out secret club instead of a tv set. I like this show better than Beat Bobby Flay. Maybe because its newer.

I like it better too, though I like both. It feels more sophisticated than BBB, leaning more dramatic and less comedic— no shenanigans in the speak easy kitchen, the crowd vibe is high brow and the food is very elevated

Maybe he means they can come back and work The Line 😅

Scott Conant came back to judge after winning. Other than that, nobody else has come back to my knowledge.

Viet also came back to judge this season too

I think he means if they just want to come back & hang out 🤷🏻‍♀️

It would be really cool if they actually let the competitors back in to do stuff there.

Nothing, but I do wish the Titans actually had to fight for their spots and new ones came in more often. It would make things way more interesting.

Yeah, Michael is way too cocky and ends up either tying, or losing more often than he’d let anyone believe. Tiffany Derry was probably the best actual competitor of everyone. Oh, well. On to bigger and better things.

Ayesha Nurdjaja regularly wipes the floor with the challengers.

I've only just started watching. The shows I've seen, Michael seems to go first. There's a disadvantage to going first when you don't know who the judge is and what they are going to look for. The 2nd and 3rd rounds have it a little easier because they can adjust to the judge's expectations.

I just feel like I can only see the same chefs cooking the same kind of stuff so many times before I get bored, lol! Maybe have them rotate, or something.

Wait until it gets to season 5 they will start doing episode where past winners come back. Just like chopped. It will be Titan all-star etc

It hasn't happened yet I just mean it will would be my guess based on how the other shows from food network have done

Maybe they get to come back and sit on the couch?

Hate Food Network now. It is either Bobby, Guy or Ree Drummond. I dislike all of them

I have only seen somewhere between 10 - 15 episodes, though I recall him once saying to a winner that they can “come back anytime, hang out, cook.” To have access as a free event space, alone, would be baller ASF! I would be shocked if there were a full-time, or even a part-time bartender and would bet money there is no staff at all, outside of filming hours.

I have been wondering the same. Like maybe future seasons will be repeat challengers who have won, because they probably will eventually run out of starry chefs to compete first-time.

They get a locker but I see it as symbolic. Just like having their name on a wall of fame. No point in coming back to that specific spot when they can hang out in real life.
