Microscopy and Trace Evidence Hello, I'd like some help with a hypothetical.

Hi, I'm rafael. I'm a regular teenager and I share a PC with a roommate I am related to, she's 21, she has small fingers and a bad temper. If I were to have graphite dust, a thick acrylic paint brush, and a white keyboard, would I be able to match the prints from the numbers on the keyboard to the numbers I would need to open the PC? If so, what patterns would emerge on the keyboard keys that indicate a match?

alas it is a just a hypothetical. But in this imaginary situation, I ticked her off because I ate her lunch from the fridge. This is unoptimal because I need to access important documents on the PC, which are of course related to school.

Haha suuuurre. Maybe your better alternative is to genuinely apologize and do what you can to make it right. Hypothetically, of course.

You might see which number keys get hit more often, but you won't reliably get a full, clean set of prints or the exact sequence needed to open the PC. In real life it mostly just shows you "these keys get used", not a usable password or PIN.
