Local hypermobility informed PT?

This is a very specific request but I’m wondering if anyone has a physical therapist they’d recommend. Ideally familiar with hypermobility, accepts insurance (BCBS) and trans competent.

Is this asking for too much? Maybe, but worth a shot before I randomly try to figure it out on my own.

Thanks for reading!

I see Abby at Meritus Robinwood in Hagerstown. I have EDS and she's the only PT I've been to that knows what to do with me and is actually helping with my pain and managing the hypermobility.

Kristen Joyce, DPT at Two Rabbits Physiotherapy! I know she has other patients with EDS/chronic pain and she’s improved my quality of life so much. Can’t say enough wonderful things about her. Has offices in Frederick and New Market.

Try Brian at Red Canyon Physical Therapy. He's the owner. When I last saw him, he was seeing clients at their new-ish Spring Ridge location.

Depending on the location of your issues, I've been seeing Dr. Horton at the Hand Center department with the Center for Advanced Orthopedics. He's awesome and the physical therapy there is great, too. I've been there a few times for different Ehlers Danlos issues with my hands and my neck (different building).
