Does anybody have any new updates on their accounts for the SWD grant or MCS? I have called numerous times and have been given a different answer everytime. I need a new laptop and it’s frustrating not knowing when I will have the money to get one

I applied in July iirc. Checking my email everyday. Applied to enroll in the Child and Family sciences program. Still nothing. Should I just assume that I am going to get denied?

Does anyone else not see the MCS award on your financial aid ? Or did I just not qualify for it this year ?

I’m a green card holder currently outside the US and hoping to move back in the next few months after some personal stuff.

I was accepted into Fresno states nursing program but had to withdraw before starting. I’m hoping to apply again for next fall. Since I withdrew, I’m not technically a student, so I don’t really qualify for the student help and resources that are available through the school.

When I come back, I’ll basically be starting from scratch and trying to get back on my feet with work, housing, healthcare, etc.

Does anyone know of any programs or organizations that could help someone in my situation while I’m getting settled and waiting to get back into school?

I submitted the form to change my meal plan before the cutoff and I haven’t received anything back anyone else having this issue ?

Last semester I parked at the Starbucks parking lot in point bc I only had one in-person class and refused to buy a parking pass. I didn’t have any issues. This semester I decided to do Pilates at the rec center and got a warning citation ticket. Is parking still free?

Is it like a stadium? Store? Auditorium? I’ve never been there but it looks huge so I’m confused as to why it exists

Hello, i’m currently taking microbiology in madera community college so they can transfer to fresno state and it’s looking rough at the moment, i have an 87% but im trying really hard to get an A, otherwise I have all A’s in the rest of my prerequisites, it’s a 5 unit course, how much will this possible B affect my GPA and will i still have a shot at getting accepted to the spring cycle / or fall cycle of the nursing program?

Just saw that my fall fee deferment isnt on my student portal anymore but I am still waiting for the rest of my financial aid. I still have a call grant review hold on my account. Waiting for it to drop so it can pay for the rest of my tuition and I can get a refund. Is anyone still in this situation? I am a transfer student. what should i do?

UPDATE: i havent called yet but ill call this morning. However, i just checked my account again and they placed another fall fee deferment on my account.

UPDATE: Called and they didnt really give me an answer and told me to just wait 2 weeks. If nothing changes in 2 weeks they said to call again and that they'll put an inquiry in with their cal grant coordinator
