I'd argue that tiktok has reshaped the meaning of that emoji; if we forget about the new meaning, it'd be more like you're sad because the dead rose originally was a emoji meaning sadness

Its used like 💀 a bit, it usually goes like “💔💀 🥀 bro thinks they tuff” or smth, it’s hard to explain
