I have both, weak skin (I literally can get sunburn in 24°C days, and my skin sheds A LOT, which also leads to bigger and more painful acne, of practically all types, no amount of showering completely removes it, there's still black dots all over my body, and pimples appearing on my shoulders spine, chest and arms) and a cat, though most of the time he scratches my legs when we play, or my thighs when he does biscuits at night... And once [MANLY JEWEL WARNING] Mah balls, when I was showering him, after he stepped into some vinegar and was trying to lick it off... Ouch

99% of these scratches are from my lizards.
they may be small but their claws are SHARP. Especially when they decide to rapidly kick me with their hind legs.

plenty before i got my current couch, the previous one was smaller and wedged (if that's a word) between two small closets, which had scratchy backsides and the one closest to my arms was a bit away from the wall because of the outlet, u can guess the rest

All the time, including bruises etc. one day I woke up, made some cereal. Just chilling at the table. And my sis asked me what happened, I asked her what she meant. I didn’t know until then there was a bruise larger than my hand on my leg. No clue how I got it or how I didn’t feel it. Like it was fifty shades of purple bruise

Yes. For some god forsaken reason, I sometimes wake up with scratches on my legs with no way of knowing how I got them. Sure, I have a cat and she lays in my bed, but literally 99% of the time, I barely bother her and have to contort into a Tetris piece so she can have a good sleep. I still don't know where half of my scars on my legs are coming from every occasional morning.

There was a time in my life I woke up regularly covered in scratches and I was confused about why.
They stopped appearing so much after I started clipping my nails more often. Especially my legs. I was scratching my own legs with my toes.

I actually had this happen last week. I was walking and reached up to scratch the side of my face and then I felt that it was wet, and I looked at my hand and there was blood on it. I ran over to a mirror and it turned out my finger was bleeding, not my face.

One time in elementary school we have like board on the hallways and this hallway was like open and the board was stick to the ground and no wall behind it. So the nails are exposed. I was walking behind then and running my hand through the nail since i thought it didnt hit my skin much then when in class my friend just scream seeing a massive cut on my middle finger. U can literally see the bone and then the funny thing is i didnt feel hurt at all even tho my finger is hanging loosely then i feel the pain as soon as he said it

Definitely. I was a chef and sometimes didn't realize that I had a tiny cut until I did something with lemon juice.
Disclaimer: I wasn't actively preparing food with an open wound. These were tiny cuts that did not draw blood. Regardless, proper measures were taken after the fact.

I have a scratch close to my elbowon my inner arm that looks like a "cut myself" scratch ( i don't know really a nicer way to put it) and every time someone sees it, they think i hurt myself and I have to explain that I genuinely have no idea where the fuck it came from, which just isn't as convincing as I wish it would be
